Anyone else noticed that we're not in the first round of the League Cup? Every other Championship club are in the first round bar Rovers and Bolton who have an automatic bye into the second round. Wolves on the other hand have to play in the first round as they finished bottom of the Premiership.

Strange rule and first I've heard of it but can't really complain.

Yeah, I didn't know about it until this season, It's amazing how ignorant we are of all things non Premier League related when we're up there.

Iirc we played Rochdale in round to the season after we were relegated last time. Funny scored a hat-trick of penalties in the second leg.

We had already had a season in the championship then, we played Rochdale in the season we came up. I'm glad we are not in first round, hardly ideal prep for the new season.
