Surely he has to take a lot of the blame for his finess levels, sure training has a lot to do with it but he must be ill disciplined to put on the weight

To a degree yes but under Allardyce and Hughes, the whole squad were much fitter, leaner and were a real threat in the last 15 minutes of games!!
