rog of the rovers Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zxXkSFmkv8 Hard to believe that this is what he was doing before he joined Rovers!

braddock Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 It worked for Andy Todd. And our owners will want the best deal, sentiments won't come into the matter. Could be a good move if you ignore that it's Burnley. But I don't want to. So I don't want it to happen.
dwayne cage Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I really hope he stays to be honest. Looks if he's going anywhere it will be Bristol City
Josh Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Hopefully he gets some game time. I fear Palace will be relegated but if he starts to score you never know what can happen
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Shame, I'd rather him than Edinho.....let's see how he gets on under a proper manager in this division.....he'll get at least 15 goals imo.
Backroom Tom Posted August 31, 2012 Backroom Posted August 31, 2012 Loan or permanent? Season long loan hope it works out well for him
Hekla Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Season long loan hope it works out well for him I hope so too, glad he didn't join Burnley. He's at a good club there and will score goals I believe.
BRFC1995 Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 not a fan, does'nt look like a player that would get any better we'd have to be doing abysmally even by kean standards for me to think that shipping goodwillie out was a mistake
dwayne cage Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 6 month loan, Rhodes gets injured we are done for.
Hekla Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 6 month loan, Rhodes gets injured we are done for. Not really, we have Kazim who is good there. Goodwillie was never going to get a chance anyway unfortunately.
BRFCBOY Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 6 month loan, Rhodes gets injured we are done for. . Don't forget we got edinho
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 . Don't forget we got edinho He's useless based on what we've seen so far. If any player would have benefitted from a loan further down the football league it was Edhino. Not good enough for the Championship.
den Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Can't run and can't beat a man either. Wrong player at the wrong club.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Can't run and can't beat a man either. Wrong player at the wrong club. I swear he beat a man the other day and almost scored in the last few minutes against Leicester? He used to be able to run back in the day when he wasn't overweight and unfit.
booth Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Stupid to send him off somewhere else, it looks like Edinho is our super sub. I really do think Goodwillie with a decent manager pushing him in the right direction would score goals in this league. Typical Keano. He scores a goal and he gets rid of him. Wrong player at the wrong club. Wrong manager for me. He won't get the best out of anyone. I even think Yakubu would have scored more with someone who knew what they were doing managing.
BB9 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Too many 'issues' but also not given a chance under our inept leadership.
Mullionvagrant Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Ha ha classic from rovers Rovers have allowed the 23-year-old to move on loan after signing Leon Best, Nuno Gomes, Colin Kazim-Richards and Jordan Rhodes during the transfer window. Loan until january and one of the reasons given for allowing him out on loan is we've signed Best (injured until then). and Colin is currently crocked too... If i was Goodwillie and read that i'd be rightly annoyed too..... i'd like to think he might return for the end of the season once perhaps fitter and with confidence under a new manager not Kean, but something tells me i'm dreaming a far to ambitious dream to think that he won't still be involved at the club..
KyleBRFC Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 People havent even given him a chanc and have wrote him off. Ive the feeling this was a mistake by the club.
slats Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Could it not be that with him and Rhodes both being young lads from north of the border and maybe ending up good mates, with goodwillie having off field 'troubles', they didn't want their 8 million pound investment getting mixed up in anything unsavoury? Or is that just drunken paranoia

Or is that just drunken paranoia *insert joke about our manager being from north of the border, unsavoury, a bad influence and liking a drink*
