Where is ABBEY when you need a rational view on todays events.

One question was...I know nothing about football management or tactics,I tell lies and I am scottish, can I have a job

Shebby replied....I am sorry that job is already taken.

that cant be true?

sounds like everybody got their moneys worth in entertainment value alone, better than some of the stand ups they have on at King Georges.

I think the meeting went well, most people I spoke to at the meeting could not believe how open Shebby was, he gave answers on everything which he knew about ( he ain't gonna know everything he has only been in job for 6 weeks)

It's upto each supporter to make their own decision if they believe him or not , me personally does believe him. Why would he sit in a meeting in front of 11 different media outlets including sky and lie ? Exactly he wouldn't .

Lets judge him on the things he now does rather than the things he may or may have not said . Seems quite a few on here who was not present cannot wait to stick boot in , whilst some did go and have their own opinion

This was a massive step in what we have had before which was a wall of silence .

We will be putting the meeting out at some point , and hope people listen to it rather than make comments on second hand information

See that's quite witty but no matter what we all think about Kean the fact remains a director of football type or global advisor shouldn't be saying things like he has publically about the manager and players.

Who would take the managers job after this clown has publically said he makes the decisions on signings etc?

If Kean does go then our next manager is likely to be Shebby himself at this rate.

I hope he can achieve what we all want and sack Kean but I also hope he isn't long for our club himself as its only a matter of time before he says something more damaging once the season starts

That's slightly unfair glen, two videos have been on sky and many of his answers published on twitter by respectable sources, you don't hve to have been in the room to assess those statements.

Let's not forget that some of the ludicrous things Kean has said in press conferences have been used against him and I'm sure everyone who did that wasnt in the room when the comments were made.

Do you personally think his answers about pedersen are befitting of a man in a position of power at the football club?

Personally I was gutted I couldn't be there but had to work but that doesn't change my view on the stuff I have heard.

As with most things though only the more sensational stuff is talked about and perhaps the more sensible stuff ignored and unheard by us not in attendance.

Credit to the action group though as the meeting may have had the unexpected effect of speeding up the departure of Kean if things come to a head a Shebby has the power we all hope he does

The only reason Shebby can publicly say the things he has about Kean is because Venkys have still inexplicably not sacked him. If they had done the right thing this meeting would have been a million times less controversial. Important that we remember the root of the issue.

He shouldnt have said what he did about Pedersen, but he's right and I'm glad it means he wont be in the team this season, he's been a liability for far too long.

Yep. That's why if Kean was human he'd walk out of self respect.

1. with the amount of bull-###### and lies, we as supportes have witnessed throughout the V´s ownership, can you really blame people for being sceptical.? as the leader of brag, you should refrain from making such comments, especially considering my very first sentecne and question. You ###### people of with stupid remarks like that imo.

2. written, podcast or filmed.?

Having had an update from my mate Ewoodbehappy and having read and digested the comments on here from various fans I think the one good thing that might come out of it is this.

The outburts and views of Shabby have made KEANSCUMS position untenable. Furthermore, I wonder how that idiot Agnew is feeling now ? He is another who must feel his working environment is now is an awful place to be having seen the manager undermined in front of the media and the clubs own fans to boot.

8000 season tickets sold sends a clear message to the owners and club. We all want KEANSCUM out. I am in the been going for ages group and wont return until he is removed, 42yrs and believe or not, I really dont think I have considered going to football throughout the summer break.

I worked it out this week just how much in a year on average I pay into the club. £350 for my season ticket, £40 for a shirt, may be two depending on the away kit. I attend on average 10 away games average price of say £26 a game (£260). If I have 2 pints and a pie at each home game thats around £190. So, if you then add travel costs etc it is easily a good figure of £1000 a year. The average fans expenditure will be around the same so you can see how much money the club is already bleeding from stay away fans.

I have to believe that KEANSCUMS tenure is coming to an end otherwise I am not sure that Rovers could tempt me back to Ewood and that really does hurt.

I don't think he initially meant Kean would be out if 3 games are lost, he initially seemed to just be talking about how bad it would be to lose 3 games statistically(he is a pundit), it seemed to be the crowds positive vocal reaction that seemed to bemuse him a little and he'd just went with it and agreed to the confirmation question.

Just listened to my own recording of the meeting. Singh said "if we lose two games on the trot, three games definetly, definetly" - that is word for word. It was 12.33 seconds after he began speaking

As with most things though only the more sensational stuff is talked about and perhaps the more sensible stuff ignored and unheard by us not in attendance.

I didn't hear much sensible stuff at all Tom.

I said a week ago, that he shouldn't be doing things like this. There's the professional way, then there's Shebby's way. Has Shebby improved the situation with this q&a session, made no difference at all, or made things worse? You decide, because I know what I think.

IMO he's done this with one aim, - to get the fans onside. He said that more than once. You get the fans onside though, by being honest and by showing that you are capable of bringing the right changes. Threatening the manager publically with the sack, labelling current players as pensioners and taking over transfer policy is absolutely the wrong way to convince fans that you're the man for rovers.

It was a shambles, an out and out shambles. Asked about only having three centre halves at the club, he went on about defending from the front. - wrong answer. Asked about debt, he said he hadn't been told he couldn't sign players - wrong answer. As for Kean's three losses and he's sacked comment - wrong answer again. You either think he's the right manager. or you don't. Three losses doesn't alter that. It might give him ammunition to go to Mrs D and say he's got to go [Kean], but all that does is highlight how badly the people at the top are performing. I mean C'mon, Keans either the right man for the job, or he's not. Sack him now, when there's the possibility that more fans will buy ST's, or back him. Three game limits are cruel and ridiculous.

While some fans might think that sacking Kean is success, don't forget that we'll still be tied with this management structure. We're a long way yet off becoming the club we once were.

I went and think that glen and mark etc did a great job getting him here. I would like to agree with everyone saying he was unprofessional, however he isn't an employee of the club. As he said on a number of times he is the owners representative. Some of the things he said were not smart ie Pedersen but he can do if he likes in the same way that we as fans can. I

I must admit though that I wouldn't like him to be my representative!

I have to say though, he did come across as others have said, as a nice guy.

your right he did, but just how much of that might have been saying what we want to hear, after all sitting in front of 500+ fans wanting the clown out would not have been easy and a small police presence

From the video of the meeting:

Hickson "Could you clarify what you just said. If he loses three games on the bounce he's gone?"

Singh "Yes"

That is a categorical statement

Personally I would not work under such circumstances. For me Singh has shown a lack of professionalism and there is a real danger he will deepen the divide at Ewood.

We would never have seen this under John Williams. The whole thing is becoming even more farcical. He is clearly working on getting the fans onside and we've heard it all before.

coco will though, still it may take the heat off the supporters in the press now that shebby seems to have taken up the baton

Total lack of professionalism. It's shameful to see the depths this club has plummeted to. The only thing this meeting proves, as if we didn't already know, is that our club is a total and utter circus the likes of which has never been seen before. The comments about Pedersen are a disgrace coming from somebody of Shebby's supposed standing.

Embarrassing. Even if Kean does go it'll probably be Shebby replacing him.

Yeah, just to clarify for others who might be wondering, didn't he say that he wasn't paid by the club, but was paid by Venky's?

I would not be surprised if coco's lawyers are already working on a constructive dismisal case as I type
