I think the meeting went well, most people I spoke to at the meeting could not believe how open Shebby was, he gave answers on everything which he knew about ( he ain't gonna know everything he has only been in job for 6 weeks)

It's upto each supporter to make their own decision if they believe him or not , me personally does believe him. Why would he sit in a meeting in front of 11 different media outlets including sky and lie ? Exactly he wouldn't .

Lets judge him on the things he now does rather than the things he may or may have not said . Seems quite a few on here who was not present cannot wait to stick boot in , whilst some did go and have their own opinion

This was a massive step in what we have had before which was a wall of silence .

We will be putting the meeting out at some point , and hope people listen to it rather than make comments on second hand information

Massive improvement!!!!! More like a massive embarrassment.

Saying what he said about Pedersen was nothing short of disgraceful.

Publicly saying to take promises made by kean as a pinch of salt (even though true) Yet still have him as the manager. Is pathetic.

Your sticking the boot in comment was uncalled for.

Can someone please confirm to me whether my letter was read out to Shebby at the meeting I was informed it was given to the action group prior to the meeting it touched on several issues inc the infamous Hong Kong rant and other issues and if so what were Shebby's thoughts on the matters thanks.

Amazed at Shebby.

His comments on Kean effectively were, I've been told I can't sack Kean yet, I cannot defend his record, there is not one person in this room who is backing Kean.

Effectively, we have position where the person who confirmed he can sack Kean, is not backing Kean, a position that cannot work. So for me it's Shebby or Steve, one has to go, and quickly. My money is on Singh.

He indicated he was telling Kean who he could or couldn't sign, and said he was negotiating with Huddersfield on Rhodes. Someone asked if he was picking the team, he said no because that would put him in a position where he could be fired.

Can't wait for the meeting with Kean we have been promised!

In all seriousness though, he was completely unprofessional. Can you imagine if Kean goes, that any prospective manager is going to look at Shebby and want to work with him.

Can you imagine this scenario though lose first two games then in the third game going into injury time 1-0 down. It would be the most surreal atmos ever. The feelings would be like how normally feel when hanging on for a 1-0 win.

I for one would celebrate the sacking of keanocchio like a cup win. Sadly though I think we know in our hearts he will out last us all

I'm sure someone has probably mentioned it, but the BBC website has picked up on it and is running it as a headline piece.

If he goes back on his word the national media will pick up on it. Also they might lay off the fans and start going for the owners and Shebby for a change.

Just been having a chat with a mate back home who was at the meeting. His view is that this (Shebby fighting talk, Venky's eyes and ears etc) is one big agreed staged smokescreen to let "certain parties" exit the stage with their reputations intact and deeds done still buried deep, leaving Venkys to run the club on their own.

In some respects can see his thinking

You've lost me there, pb.

Who is there at Rovers who has any kind of reputation worth a damn?

Personally although kean is a shockingly bad manager, I can't see rovers losing the first 3 games of the season. We will get a draw from one of them for sure, maybe lose 2 at the worst.

I like shebby for some reason although he is a bit silly, he needs to stop talking like a pundit at times but the fact that we all know he doesn't think much of Steve kean makes me like him a bit.

Also, how depressing is it that a public fans meeting brought cheers that there is the possibility that the clubs manager will be sacked. It shows just how desperate we all are to see kean gone but.

and who is to blame for that scenario

Well its a ready made excuse for Kean isn't it , fan pressure, pressure from the "owners" representative and even though there's a hell of a lot of people who have seen through Kean there's plenty more who haven't. plus depending on your point of view whether or not Venky's are owners in name only considering what as been presented to various governing bodies and a lot more questioning of the goings on at Rovers perhaps some people lurking in the background need to beat an hasty retreat.

Like I said , a mates view and the above is my understanding of what he means, he's never been convinced that the Rao's were in this on their own.

To be honest Im more confused than ever at what the hell has gone / is going on, but counting down the first three back to back defeats of the season to see what happens

trouble is, is it the first 3 games only ?. also if not he could lose 2 draw 1 all season and not get sacked.

Don't know if someone wants to correct me, but I'm not sure he said first three games, just three in a row.

What was the Venkys London question?

The question was who are the directors of Venkys London Ltd. The reply was Mrs D and the two brothers as it is a family business.

The questioner stated it was simple to hide other directors through a shell (possibly shelf) company. Singh undertook to get the answer to the question.

The follow up question was why have Venkys failed to answer questions sent to them by the Sports Minister (Hugh Robertson) by a mid July deadline? The questioner went on to state the questions have been sent to the British High Commissioner in India to give to Venkys and will also be questions posed by a British Trade Delegation visiting India late August or early September.

Asked to name his source the questioner stated it was Graham Jones.

Singh appeared "confused" by why this was necessary. Confused is the best word I can think of.

He undertook to find the letter.

would have been better if he undertook to find the answer

The questioner was referring to a couple of things which I think he got confused with.

Last week Jack Straw issued a letter to Hugh Robertson to increase the pressure on the footballing authorities with a number of questions in it.

Graham Jones is indeed going to India on un-football related business but also hopes to either catch a meeting with Venkys or indeed speak to goverment representatives out-there.

I have to say though, he did come across as others have said, as a nice guy.

I'd say a joker with 137 years of history in his hands.

Did nobody else pick up on Shebby saying that he had been employed by Venky's in August of 2011.??

I could have swore he said that.

He did.

Shebby reminds me of Homer Simpson running for Sanitation Commisioner. He gets the job but withn days rubbish starts popping up everywhere. We are yet again a laughing stock. We are lurching from one disgrace to another on an almost daily basis.

On Peds the "legs have gone" comment seems very strange when we have signed Murphy and Gomes. I'm not Peds biggest fan but in one hit we have wiped any transfer value off him.

It might have been funny but its humiliating for anyone who loves the Club. Never in decades of watching Rovers have I seen the Club being run this way. We have never before washed our dirty linen in public.

A Club so bitterly divided at the top can never give its best on the field. We are a laughing stock.

Our club's a fookin shambles now 47er,a once proud club reduced to a Circus...I feel I have had my intelligence insulted with this lot today.
