Only 1 week away from the start of the season and i dont believe for 1 second Kean knows his starting 11 other than the back 4 that pick themselves and Murphy(who i have a feeling is slightly injured, but its been hushed up!), i dont even believe he has any idea of the formation and style he wants to play either.

Sorry but I don't know who to believe. Seems nobody knows. Don't know why I should believe Kamy to be honest? Everyone is kicking up new stories and bids and bids denied every day its getting very tedious.

Kamy has a very good track record....I don't think anyone takes what he says as gospel but personally I believe him at least as much as Cryer.

Murphy has got an injury not that serious still hoping to be fit for start of season.

I know Kean and Venkys have lied frequently in the past but with so many sources clamining out bid is 6 mil (or there abouts) it is obvious that the Skysports story is a rehash.

On this I can't really criticise the club, they have been through a proper process. They established whether the player was interested in joining us, they looked at wages etc, once they had decided they could afford him they went and made a bid. It wasn't a ridiculously low bid, that was rejected, they then had a meeting and decided to go back in with another bid, that is where we are at the moment. Every club goes through a similar process, look at what United are doing with RVP, they know that the asking price is £20 million, but they haven't gone in and bid £20 million straight away they are exploring if Arsenal will budge on that price.

There are many things that we can have a go at the club with, but on this I can't see what we could've done differently. Rovers have now made a final bid, if Huddersfield say "no" then we will move on.

They could afford him !?!? You sure ? With the contracted financial commitments Rovers are making and proposing, IMO, it's amounting to sh1t or bust and I know which way I am leaning with Kean as manager.

As for a ridiculously low bid, well Rovers have a number of links with Huddersfield both past and present and I understand that Dean Hoyle's words were unrepeatable.

Don't get me wrong, such an exciting player, and someone that could make us a fortune down the line, providing we, err, provide him with goals, but away from financial stability (I have this idea that in the Venky world, Rhodes is a 12-month purchase to bang the goals in and be sold for a small fortune when we're promoted again), I'm concerned about that rickety backbone of a defence. Rhodes can bang them in left, right and centre, but, like last season, Coco and co. seem oblivious to the fact that we have an amazingly weak and shallow defensive line-up.

Absolutely staggered that many think Rhodes is so good.

Until joining us, Dann had at least performed well in the PL @ Brum..

People can say what they like about Blackburn rovers, honestly I don't think we care. This is the lowest point in Blackburn rovers recent history, so you honestly think the things a few horny 12 year olds write on twitter is going to affect us?

As I said earlier, if the figure that people have been suggesting are true and hudds rejected them then more fool them, as Rhodes will have to score 20+ this season to be worth that much next season. I have absolutely no bad feelings if we have to move on, as I think there is more value for money out there.

Which be a good signing. very similar to Rhodes. A natural goalscorer. Don't think he will come with Saints in PL now

Maybe look towards Velios from Everton or Cox from WBA.

Also Andy Cryer is saying that John Guidetti is the next target.
