The Rover of Finland Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I doubt he would leave the Champions League for the Championship and apparently he has already knocked back Southampton...really good player though. I would take Delfouneso.....Park was rated in South Korea so perhaps.....Macheda absolutely never......and would take the rest although I don't know much about Church, the Reading striker so maybe/maybe not. Church was a hot talent not so long ago. Something happend last season and he didn´t get much game time. Not the answer right now but he really need a transfer and new start.

bluebruce Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Jay Bothroyd Kebab Shop owner We were talking about Fuller
T.J.Newton Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Connor Wickham on loan(permanent transfer even better) would be a great signing if he's fully fit.
Sparky Marky Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 We were talking about Fuller Thats what I thought Anyway...Mr Mullan, who told you about the £5m bid? I thnk this is bulllshyte
roverandout Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 i would have craig bellamy back, though its unlikely, billy sharp would bang in ###### loads of goals in this league,
HemelRover Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 i would have craig bellamy back, though its unlikely I would like to clone a early/mid 90's Alan Shearer and force him to sign a 10 year contract, though thats unlikely too.
Kelbo Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 i would have craig bellamy back, though its unlikely, billy sharp would bang in ###### loads of goals in this league, Those two would win us the league!! (with a different manager of course)
G Somerset Rover Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Kamy's just posted on twitter that Rhodes is very much a live target. Would LOVE this to happen if just to see Nixon's face.
m1st Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Kamy's just posted on twitter that Rhodes is very much a live target. Would LOVE this to happen if just to see Nixon's face. But being "very much a live target" doesn't mean that we're going to make an acceptable offer or that he's going to sign.
G Somerset Rover Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I know it doesn't, I didn't say that. I personally don't think we stand much chance but he'd be a truly fantastic signing. And Kean's pal Nicko would look an even bigger tit.
Hughesy Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Certain people in the know suggesting this is THE live one...and something has clearly happened tonight. Fingers crossed
ChrisyG Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I like the look of that chap. Thanks chaddy. Seems to have quite a repertoire. Looks quite silky as well, and strong.
davulsukur Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Certain people in the know suggesting this is THE live one...and something has clearly happened tonight. Fingers crossed What do you mean by something has clearly happened tonight? Improved bid?
sharpysharps Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Kamy's just posted on twitter that Rhodes is very much a live target. Would LOVE this to happen if just to see Nixon's face. sums up my thoughts too
ChrisyG Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 He doesn't know. There's been a few comments on twitter. Kamys last tweet; For those asking will deal happen, I don't know. Might come down to Rhodes, whether he wants to force move due to wages/bonuses on offer.
Puffsan Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Ok, so now kean wants to sign the new Alan shearer, only this time the comparison is correct? I'm getting so exited over this. All we need now is Kenny to lead us up to the premier league and we all know what happens next
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Nicko reporting us and Fulham after Rhodes.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yea I doubt the rumours of a medical are true as well......the story seems to be Huddersfield aren't prepared to sell unless it's for silly money but Rhodes can try and force through a move if he wants......I can't really see the attraction.....he can just stay there where he is guaranteed games.....there might not be a point of going to a C'ship side challenging for promotion if he can just get a move to a Prem team next summer anyway if he has another good season......Fulham have just signed Petric and Rodallega so hopefully he is hesitant on how many games he would start for them. I think our best hope relies on us offering him lots of money.....potentially Blackman, Ribeiro and hopefully Anderson leaving as well as Slew on loan might free up some extra space on the wage bill.....Venky's like young players whose values would increase and even if we bought him for say 7 million, his value could easily double if he keeps scoring as much as he has done. We should offer 6.5/7 or even 5 + Goodwillie and get another youngster on loan as well as Santa Cruz on loan also.
67splitscreen Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Fulham offer 2m rising to 6m, surely that tells Rhodes their not 100% on him making the step up. If we had 5m rejected surely 1m more is nothing if he leads us back up.
blueboy3333 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Is this another of those famous 'active bids' the club seem to specialise in but never seem to pull off? Or am i just cynical?
T.J.Newton Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 i cant imagine venkys paying more than 2.5-3mill upfront for anybody regardless of the players quality(yet they dont seem to have any probs with paying over the odds on wages/bonuses/signing on fees/AGENT FEES).
G Somerset Rover Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Last comment on Nixon. He laughed off the prospect of Rhodes ever joining us last night and now a day later according to his story we're 'locked in a battle to sign Rhodes with Fulham'. Good to see him being as consistent as ever.
