Interesting article on the new youth league,could it be a new direction in football much like the american football college leagues ? or is it just going to be a shopping Mall for the real premier league?.

Looks pretty exciting on paper, if tv and media get behind it it could really become massive like,(allthough i feel it could be hijacked by agents).

Hopefully with the extra competition and exposure it`ll bring a lot more of the youth that are normally cast aside for foreign signings into the limelight.

My concern would be that it allows top teams to stockpile youngsters and not send them out on loan, which actually is more beneficial IMO
