sharpysharps Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 CKR and Rosado have been close for days? What is this 'paperwork' that takes so long to process? A combination of international clearance and getting Galatasary to approve the loan deal as well for Kazim R, not sure about the other guy.
dwayne cage Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Was like this last season. Remember how close we was to getting Goodwillie, went on for weeks i think his medical was Monday-Friday haha
Craigman Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/colin-completes-loan-switch-302302.aspx Loan switch confirmed
Hekla Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I think he could be a good signing, given he is apparently bonkers he does have a decent pedigree. 36 caps for Turkey and a Turkish league medal.
ultrablue Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 he plays like diouf trapped in the body of kaba diawara.
The Rover of Finland Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Not over the moon. He really didn´t convince at ShefUtd but that was PL. It´s been time but nothing really been heard from him for many years.
G Somerset Rover Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Not over the moon. He really didn´t convince at ShefUtd but that was PL. It´s been time but nothing really been heard from him for many years. Well there has, it's just he's been plying his trade abroad, so naturally not much has been reported over here. Very happy with this, will be a very decent player at this level IMO.
alexanders Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Happy with this one. On a loan with a view to permanent it is not financial risky either.
T.J.Newton Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Happy with this one. On a loan with a view to permanent it is not financial risky either. I have no critism against the players ability BUT you dont know how much is being paid to agents and in wages to make this deal happen.
hesfromburn Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Good addition to the squad IF used correctly
JAL Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Cool. Hopefully he'll perform for us. Why hopefully, is he not guaranteed to do the job in the first place.
alexanders Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Of Course JAL. Its that easy. Just look at Veron, Kezman, Sheva etc
Josh Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 When we were first linked with him I said he was awful, but I'm willing to give him a chance. It's been so long since I've seen him play so I can't really comment on his skills, but I hope he's quick. Without Hoilett we must have the slowest squad in the history of Football
Eddie Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 He's quick and, overall, our squad isn't slow. He's quick, Rochina is quick and one or two of the Portuguese additions are quick. We'll be alright when it comes to pace. Now let's hope for a bit of shape, organization and tactic.
T.J.Newton Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I like Rochina but hes never looked quick to me(only seen him play a couple of times mind), ive always thought quickness is what he is missing.
roversfan99 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Yeah Rochina is not too quick, tricky but not fast.
Lurid Coat Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Got off to a good start today, hopefully he'll be a positive addition to our squad. Shouldn't this thread be moved to the main forum, btw?
patrickvalery Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 http://www.itv.com/news/granada/update/2012-08-14/full-media-conference-with-blackburn-rovers-colin-kazim-richards/ Interview with Kazim-Richards for those who can be bothered hearing about 'the project' upwards of 15 times!
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 http://www.itv.com/n...kazim-richards/ Interview with Kazim-Richards for those who can be bothered hearing about 'the project' upwards of 15 times! It's pretty interesting when he talks of being in situations "20 times worse" in reference to the atmosphere at games when we've protested......he has played in Turkey and Formica has played in Argentina......Vukcevic and Petrovic have played in Eastern Europe......quite a few have played in the Champions League in some pretty intimidating atmospheres......20 times worse than Ewood Park isn't far off how much worse those grounds will have been......if our protests have affected the players then it doesn't bode well for them at all if they have to play in these types of games in the future......I doubt it has affected them significantly anyway.....certainly a lot less than stupid instructions from Kean has. "Experience and un-experience" haha.....footballers certainly aren't the brightest.....I quite liked him though in that to be fair.....and I prefer "the project" to "what we're trying to do" any day of the week
Backroom Tom Posted August 14, 2012 Backroom Posted August 14, 2012 I actually think he comes across well in the interview, but hearing about the direction and ambition of the club isn't going to wash with fans at the moment
Sparky Marky Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 My lads made up with this signing...apparently he's a top player on Fifa...he can't believe he signed for us......
patrickvalery Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 He did another on Radio Lancs i think. He talks about Steve Kean being a straight talking kinda guy! He says something along the lines of "I appreciated his honesty. I'm not a man who likes fog........i really don't like fog" Still, weather conditions aside, he seems pleased to be here and ready to give it his best. I'm more than happy with his signing and prepared to give him a fair crack of the whip.
alexanders Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 As I've mentioned before I have always been fond of Kazim. He comes across really good in this interview with ambition and hunger. Think he might become a favourite on Ewood Park this year.
True Blue & White Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 It's a fair point but remember: pretty quick, fast feet, unselfish, composed, consistently decent final ball and good end product wouldn't want to sign for us in the Championship. That's players like Santi Cazorla who's just gone to Arsenal......what you described are players like Zaha and maybe even Hoilett as well. Ones round about, possibly higher, than our level. Did you just mention Hoilett in the same sentence as the word 'unselfish'? :D
