neophox Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Target if we miss out on Rhoades.... but surely Guidetti is a better player than Rhoades? Can only see this as a loan.

Hekla Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Guidetti is bloody class and all the big clubs are after him after an amazing season for Feyenoord. I like Rhodes a lot but this guy is just a bit better.
Kamy100 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 In the unlikely event that Guidetti wants to join Rovers, then we should ditch Rhodes and get Guidetti, even if it is on a season long loan. This guy in my opinion is a superior striker and one of the hottest properties in european football. Interestingly Guidetti is represented by Northern Sky who are part of Kentaro: http://www.nsky.se/
alexanders Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 This should also be a good strategy to get Huddersfield to speed up the process IF they want to sell Rhodes.
Kamy100 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 LT Guidetti Story: http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/9864094.Guidetti_on_Kean_radar/
m0r94n Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Watched this guy play for Feyenoord a few times on the tele last year, looked very good and bagged a fair few goals for them. Think he could do a job for us.
dwayne cage Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 This guy is top notch quality! If we can get him on loan would be a great move I really doubt we could secure his services on a permanent basis.
danger19_80 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 So he can take a penalty then...? Lol. Nah, can't say as i've heard of this chap, but he looks good from the above.
Backroom Tom Posted August 9, 2012 Backroom Posted August 9, 2012 Is this the chap that went to burnley on loan a few years back?
Mullionvagrant Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Is this the chap that went to burnley on loan a few years back? Only for a short while!!
Silencio Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 wold be an excellent signing but why would he come? i can't see how a loan to the champioship under baldy's tutelage would be of any benefit to him given what he's already done. i think this one can be put down to one of baldy's Football Manager sessions!
alexanders Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Maybe he knows Martin Olsson. That rules out a move
Eddie Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Would rather him than Rhodes if we could get him on a permanent basis.
donnermeat Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Played top flight football last year and banged a few in with great goals to games ratio. Can't see him going anywhere but another top flight club again.
Lathund Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 There's no way this is permanent. Someone in his current position would never move to the Championship, he'll have plenty of other options. If City are even willing to let him go.
Torgeir Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I don't think he'll want to play in the Championship, but he would be an amazing signing for us. If he's available on loan we should be all over it anyway, regardless of whether we sign Rhodes or not.
Sverre Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 if he banged in 20+ goals for feyenoord then I can't see him being loaned out to a championship side. I would imagine Feyenoord being interested in either buying him or loaning him again...? either that or a small premier league side would surely be interested
beanie Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Remember Ruud Van? I like this game ehhhh remember Kezman.
braddock Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I would still class Kuyt as a good signing though.
