tomphil Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 The same old s### of get a goal then drop deep and sit back all game, never get anywhere doing that just like last season. now he's throwin on untried kids the t'''''!
RockinRover Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 For crying out loud! Ipswich are shocking at the front so what do we do? Hand them a goal in two senses, the own goal and the fact we're sitting back all the time. Kean out!
savage90 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 So we decide not to sign any solid full backs, even though left AND right full back were problematic positions last year and Kean's make-shift scores an own goal. Genius!
chilly Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 This is what happens when Kean plays his chums instead of the better players we have. Hes played Pedersen instead of Vukcevic Brought Dunn on instead of Goodwillie This needs to stop we need pace and players chosen on playing merit not kissa@s merit.
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Still amazes me that Olsson, Dunn and MGP get game time yet Simon, Rochina and Nunes can't even get on the bench. Perhaps Kean is trying to lose 3 on purpose just to prove that he's unsackable?
The Rover of Finland Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Maybe it´s a fitness issue. Have to sit the second half.
Ferrit Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Kean in being a clueless clown shocker. What did we expect?

dwayne cage Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Absolute joke going defensive against a poor Championship side. What a mess we are League 1 here we come. Note to Jordan Rhodes: Stay away pal you'll get more money but your name will become a joke like all of our players
andyroversmad Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Why are we sitting back against Ipswich they are crap we should be attacking them.
Steve Moss Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I was really hopeful that we'd get 3 points and be on track for a return to the Premier League. Unfortunately, Kean's neglect of the defense seems to have cost us 2 valuable points. Crushed.
EWOODACE1 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 ipswich have dominated this game. 1-1 would be a lucky result for us. as predicted it is going to be a long hard season
Lurid Coat Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I hate Kean and his tactical ineptitudes as much as the next guy (possibly even more), but a point away at Portman Road is not the worst result. They made West Ham look like total mugs last season and are amongst the harder times to play away. Still, we threw the lead away in an unforgivable fashion (as usual), and Kean must go ASAP
Stuart Ripley Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 should have been 2-1 town just then. seconds to go...
booth Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Did we forfeit this game? Ipswich look more likely to get a winner.
The Dart Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Rovers seem to have gone to pot now. Hang on FFS
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 It's not that a draw at Portman Road is a poor result, more that 1-0 is only enough of a lead if Mourinho is your manager so we should have been trying to kill the game off....it's boiling hot and our players aren't fully fit anyway and Kean should have known a late goal was a likely occurence.....instead it's sitting back and being lucky to get a draw by the sounds of it due to the last 5 or so minutes.
Stuart Ripley Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 1-1 final. rovers looked a good team according to the town commentary. But standard kean inspired second half capitulation. Kean out. Standard
davulsukur Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Shocking. Can't believe Kean is still making the team sit deep after taking the lead.
RevidgeBlue Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 New season same old problems? Just before Ipswich scored I was thinking we were frequently pegged back at the last gasp last season and hoped it didn't happen today.
broadsword Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Kean can't set up a team. That's because he's not a manager.
OJRovers Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Still only one win under Steve Kean since March. Yet he talks like he's won the champions league.
