philipl Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 'Ipswichre an excellent side'. The man hasn't got a clue. Blaming the yellow cards that Murphy and Etuhu got for defending deep. A decent manager would have had it sorted and gone on to score a second goal when Ipswich were pushing forward. I just wish he would get out of our club. Ultimate test of Balaji now. DOES HE BUY ALL THIS BALLONEY?

chaddyrovers Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Understand that Balaji and friends were there today with faces like thunder at the end of the match. how do you know this??? has anybody got a link to BR interview with Radio Lancs??? Ultimate test of Balaji now. DOES HE BUY ALL THIS BALLONEY? Hasn't Balaji wants to sack Kean for 2 seasons now??? but be stop by Mrs D?
dwayne cage Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 With good reason they had faces like thunder. I agree with waggy, I wouldn't put it past us to get relegated with Kean in charge. In fact I think if we lined our squad with the worlds greatest players we would still fall short with Kean in charge.
Steve Kean's Hypnotoad Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Well, pretty rubbish again. They were absolutely awful and could have won by 2 or 3. I don't understand why under Kean we always thinks the job's done once we go in front. We just sat on our area for an hour after scoring. Least the fans were awesome.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 From what i've been hearing Dann was pretty good. Can't say officially though Anyone else believe Formica is madly over rated? He's not a winger, he can be effective playing as the No.10.......I'm worried about Rochina's comments...I presume he'll be off with Vukcevic and Olsson in the next couple of weeks. As for the game, from the radio it sounds like we were lucky to get a draw.....maybe a big point come the end of the season when we're most likely in another relegation battle. "That stopped us putting pressure on the ball and we got a little bit deep and ended up giving away too many free kicks and too many penalty area entries." - I laughed out loud when I read the last bit.
Clitherover Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I didn't watch the game, only listened on radio lancs but it sounds like business as usual, I feel like a gullible **** for thinking any different tbh. Same sh1t different season.
Martin Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Sounded like we were pretty poor listening to the Rovers Player. Same issues as last season. That said, and as somebody else pointed out, both Bolton and Wolves lost - so I'll take some comfort from that. If you play players out of position you're asking for trouble. Kean does it time and time again. Good effort from the 1k+ travelling fans. Roll on Wednesday. Big pressure for three points Mr. Kean.
blue_n_white99 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 To quote Coco: "Our fans travelled in numbers and saw a spirited, organised and athletic performance," Not quite in tune with what you guys are saying, but he never let's the truth get in the way of a good tale...does he?
Hasta Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I notice the transfer listed MGP lasted 90 minutes and for the last 20 minutes we played Dunn and MGP in the same team. Hope Kean wasnt trying to be smug and give a big 'screw you' to Shebby. He may have just proved Shebby's point for him in the first game.
thenodrog Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 No it shouldn't. Kean assembled a poor Premier League side which took us down. That starting XI has key flaws and is not good enough to win 'hands down' at any average Championship club. Don't overhype them. Correct. This squad isn't a patch on the one that got promoted 11 years or so ago.
hesfromburn Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Its all his own fault he never will admit it, he was the one who brought in (unless he is willingly going to say otherwise) so many second strikers/attacking midfielders and is now forced to play them on the wing. He is the one who cant organise a team and constantly puts players in wrong positions what does he expect, You could see Formica was struggling, Pedersen was non existant, lowe struggled at times, Gomes should be nothing more than a impact sub. As for his subs!!!!! Jorge (who) Markus olsson (nowhere near good enough) Where was the striker???
thenodrog Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Anyone else believe Formica is madly over rated? He's not overated at all. Everybody knows he's bog standard..... surely thats why he's still here.
booth Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 It's simple, they guy is the equivalent to just plucking someone from the street and putting them in charge of a professional football team. He's an amateur chancer with less knowledge of how to put together a team than the average fan.
dwayne cage Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 He didn't bring on a striker because he was using his genius tactic of all out defence once we go a goal up. Sadly that's the tactic that got us relegated and that's the tactic that could easily get us relegated again. People moaned under Big Sam we played unattractive football but this football under Kean is the worst football I have seen any team play ever, and I once watched Tranmere vs Bristol Rovers!

It really is unbelievable if you told a none football fan they just wouldnt believe you. "The going up will be worse than the coming down"
Dunnfc Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Perplexed at how poor we really are under him. Looking at our squad and like the ipswich fans were saying on the radio today we should be up there beating them and top of the league or there abouts. Preassure on Kean now, 3 points at Hull or he has to go!
M-K Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 They lost 7 of their 13 home games in the league last season. The man is truly deluded Edit: the table I looked at is well off for some reason, when I find the real one I'll post the results Edit 2: The table only goes up to 27 games played and they had lost 7 of 13 home games, so I imagine it gets worse W 11 D 3 L 9 Portman Road was a fortress last season, well done to Super Keano and the boys for getting anything out of that match. Top stuff.

Hope Kean wasnt trying to be smug and give a big 'screw you' to Shebby. He may have just proved Shebby's point for him in the first game. I would wager that MGP's selection was political. Today's performance = same ###### - different division. Anyone who thinks he'll do well in this League will soon wake up to reality. A crap manager is a crap manager.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 The fans alone will not get us out of this league.....
dwayne cage Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Wolves knew they needed to get a proper manager in to replace Terry Connors as soon as they went down. Fair enough they lost but at least they've got a manager with at least a past in management at the helm. Kean nearly got us relegated then actualy got us relegated and still we have him as manager. In pre-season we looked pretty bad scrambling to get results from teams who are pretty dreadful. Still he remains in charge. 3 games is too much and Shebby said 3 losses it should be 3 disappointing results and he's gone.

Waggy76 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 The fans alone will not get us out of this league..... We need someone like Souness , who kick ass and get them playing ! This will be a wasted season cos like the last time we went down , we have the wrong man at the helm .. A pre season totally wasted cos whoever owns the club didn't sack Kean. It is 12 months today , that I launched into verbal abuse of Kean against Wolves ...People around me said ' its the 1st game ' leave it out ! Bullshit ! Kean has to be removed for Blackburn Rovers to progress .... But I fear until someone proves who the real owners of the club are Kean is untouchable and he knows it !
Backroom DE. Posted August 18, 2012 Backroom Posted August 18, 2012 The one very small positive I'm holding onto at the moment is that we DO have a team capable of getting out of the division with the right manager. If Kean is sacked (and it's a big if) a new manager should be able to get these guys playing a decent style of football pretty soon. I fear by then it'll be too late, though.
dwayne cage Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Waggy I launched abuse at Kean then too. Then again I'd launched abuse at him before that too. Truth is he deserves all he gets.
Pitty Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Let me get this right Kean is saying we drew because Murphy and etuhu got booked, That is a first I have ever heard, how many more excuses can this guy make. Maybe he could say Jason Lowe was itching his arse and thinking of gay bum sex when ipswich equalised. Just a thought.
