Backroom DE. Posted August 22, 2012 Backroom Posted August 22, 2012 CKR looks a real player at this level. Our best player at Ipswich and scores again tonight. Now injured, typical.

Josh Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 5 live crediting Kean for his Gomes sub, it's just a shame nearly everyone on this forum said he should be used as an impact sub. Well done Keano
Mike Graham Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 13,562. Surprised that 13K Rovers fans have turned up. The chicken people and PNE Agnew will be pleased that so many have turned up.
Stuart Ripley Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Semi happy. Hate the clown so badly that can´t even cheer the goals with real joy. 13,562 attendence, lowest league attendance since Ewood was being rebuilt in 1993. Kazim-Richards injured and MGP coming on. CKR looks a real player at this level. Our best player at Ipswich and scores again tonight. Now injured, typical. All of the above. Such a frustrating club the last couple of years! 13,562. Surprised that 13K Rovers fans have turned up. The chicken people and PNE Agnew will be pleased that so many have turned up. This as well
Al Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Does that 13K include all season ticket holders whether attending or not?
Backroom trueblue Posted August 22, 2012 Backroom Posted August 22, 2012 how many of the 13k are from Hull?
AJW Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 23,518 when we played in 2010 in PL under allardyce http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8502171.stm
philipl Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Radio 5 talk about the strange atmosphere at Ewood. 26 thousand at the last home game in the Prem. 13 thousand tonight. Kean halved the gate
den Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Does that 13K include all season ticket holders whether attending or not? Hey Al, I've got an answer to that! Simon Fish @SimonJohnFish @pedebumchin @OneRovers Out of interest, if a Season Ticket holder doesn't actually attend the game, are they included in the gate? Blackburn Rovers @OneRovers @SimonJohnFish No, some clubs do include but we've had it as a policy for yrs to only include those that walk through the gate @pedebumchin
jim mk2 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Surprised it was more than 10,000 to be honest. Looking forward to some cracking quotes from Kean.
dwayne cage Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I think the win is a very good thing but tonights performance highlighted how much we need a striker! Kaz can't go on scoring forever and he may even be injured which would just be our luck!
Grez Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I predict: "great start to season" "should have had back to back wins" "hull a tough team and not many will beat them this season" "lads are together" "glad owners got to see out win - first of many"
Doug Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Well done Rovers. It's more than I expected so far!
rovers11 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Sounded like a dreadful performance but we just had a little more quality in the end. A win and a clean sheet so have got to be happy with that. Sounded like Olsson, Etuhu and dann had good games. Definitely need more up front though.
Martin Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Robinson sounds very flat in the post match interview. Although, lovely to hear him say 'I'm just focussed on getting back in the premier league with Blackburn Rovers.'
SouthAussieRover Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 There's one downside of so many boycotting home games. The site was as slow as unless it was folk hitting F5.
Mercer Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Listened to R5 and seems we were lucky. As Bradeagle above said, 'papering over the cracks'. Better teams than Ipswich & Hull will eat us alive. My thoughts are a decent start will give a new decent manager a chance to get us back into PL. There's one downside of so many boycotting home games. The site was as slow as unless it was folk hitting F5. Have only just been able to get back on. For matches, guests should be blocked.
Eddie Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 There's one downside of so many boycotting home games. The site was as slow as unless it was folk hitting F5. Indeed. Made it very hard for me to post the updates.
cn174 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 "glad owners got to see out win - first of many" Owners didn't see it, they'd already bogged off.
roverandout Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 i have been saying this all along, fair weather 'posters', who never actually post just clog the messageboard up, they should do one!!!
RoyRover Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Good win. We sounded awful. But for a Hull mistake, it would have been another dire draw. We are going to find it tough against better teams. We've three more points than I thought we would have had after two games.
thenodrog Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 3 points is 3 points toward safety from relegation again but Sav and Phil Brown concurred that Hull were very unfortunate not to get something from the game.
Ferrit Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 50% possession and less shots, at home. Great football?
