Clitherover Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Can anyone clarify the club's position at this time regarding anti-Kean chanting? kamy tweeted this earlier today. Northern_Rover Shebby has confirmed that fans will not be ejected for negative chanting. Steve Kean unafraid of Ewood Park return http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19336307 Kean said. PANTS ON FIRE! I haven't read or listened to a Steve Kean interview for months now precisely because of this type of machiavellian scheming. The arrogance of the man in the manner in which he just expects all of his audience to unquestioningly accept his falsehoods is hideous. MG, if you're reading, please tell the brothers never to trust SK when he tries to convey the fans' feelings and wishes. He does not nor ever will he speak honestly on our behalf.
Rover_Shaun Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 He's still getting more HAND WRITTEN letters licking his bum whilst the hand picked, far too polite, wouldn't say boo to a goose, fans he met at the open day polished his helmet for him ALL HAIL KING STEVE. WE LOVE YOU

G Somerset Rover Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 All those asking for a LB - Adam Henley. He didn't look out of place in the Prem, so I'd imagine the Championship would be no problem for a pacey full back like him. Yet Kean picks Jason Lowe there. Baffling.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Well cup games don't count in my book. There's less intensity, less pressure and you're usually up against a team half full of reserves. Maybe I'm misjudging them because I don't have the stats but I'd like to see our results in league games they've played. Well I remember Vukcevic playing against Swansea and Arsenal where we won both.....then Sunderland away when Kean cost us the game with his immense stupidity......just looked it all up to be sure and Vukcevic started against Spurs at home (2-1 loss, we didn't play as bad as we usually do, although they probably deserved the win), against Sunderland away when he scored - Kean factor, West Brom at home but was taken off after an hour, same as Bolton at home......he came on at home to Arsenal, played well and might have got an assist....came on at home to Swansea and won us a penalty.....also came on away at Liverpool with 15 mins to go but that was the one game I didn't get to see last season. So in 7 appearances, we won 2, drew 1 and lost 4.....a win percentage of 28.5%......higher than the 21% we averaged over the course of a season.....as well as 19.3% in the games where Vukcevic didn't play. As for Rochina, Started against Fulham away - draw, Arsenal at home - win, Norwich away (Kean factor) - draw, Chelsea at home - loss, Wigan away - draw, Stoke away - loss, Swansea at home - win, West Brom at home - loss, Utd away - win.....so in 9 starts, we won 3, drawn 3, lost 3......a win ratio of 33%, higher than the 21% overall and the 17.2% we averaged in the games Rochina didn't start. Came on against Wolves at home, Newcastle away, at home to Spurs, at home to Bolton, Stoke at home, at home to Newcastle, away at City, at home to Liverpool, and away at Chelsea...we lost all of those games.....overall when Rochina played - 18 games, won 3, drew 3, lost 12....so overall win ratio when Rochina either started or came on is 16.6%, lower than the 21% overall and 25% when he didn't play......but statistics never tell the whole story; he came on the last 5/10/15 mins in quite a few of those games when we were already losing. That was mainly for your benefit though.....I'm not usually one for statistics.....in my eyes, Rochina and Vukcevic are good players and should have been played a lot more and in their right position in Rochina's case.
roverandout Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 good to see some fans on sky sports news today, telling it like it is, instead of letting the 'pretend' fans on saying what a great job kean is doing.

Not seen that but maybe SSN are turning the corner as they wont want to be seen on the losing team at the end of the battle.....

Interesting stuff. Vukcevic especially has not had much of a chance to impress and and Rochina should be able to cope more easily at this level. Have we established exactly why Simon cannot get a look in at a team getting beat most weeks? Was it confirmed as pay as you play clauses in contracts? If so, why did we sign him and structure the contract in that way? There is way too much we don't know to comment most of the time. What is clear is that there is way too much confusion surrounding too many issues and this is typical of how things have been managed since day one.
savage90 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I'd hapily (and proudly) watch Blackburn rovers play in the championship. But not after the way we have been treated as fans over the past 2 years by our ''owners'' and ''manager''. It's difficult and I feel sorry for the players. But I won't be there for he first time in 10 years as a thank you to Venky's.
adsfortheblues Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 14k plus sold as of this morning in terms of tickets
the original david brent Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 14k?! Really?! Where have the other 6k come from? I've been predicting this will comfortably be our lowest league home attendance since the early stages of 91-92 season
Mercer Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Nope, it's 11,000 so far ! Blackburn Rovers@OneRovers @tonys61 @fernhurstrover Apologies, but the figure I was looking at incl ticket sales for Leicester- we'd just passed the c11k earlier 2day

He dioes himself no favours with comments like this. Does he not remember a volatile crowd of 20,000+ calling him to resign, not to mention the fact his security team had to escort him into the stands.

The moron is simply unbearable,a bullshyter and wind-up merchant second to none. I'll be amazed if we have sold 14,000 tickets, the swaths of empty seating on the online booker is horrific
Rover_Shaun Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 BBC 5live are covering this game ahead of the Chelsea v Reading match. Do they sense a story?................proud Kean and vile fans??
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I have never felt so detached from the football club. I've cancelled my RoversPlayer account and refused to purchase any tickets or merchandise. I want us to win but even more I want Kean out and that'll probably take 2/3 defeats on the spin at least. So what do you hope for?? I'm not nervous at all about the game because there is no good or bad outcome. We lose and we struggle to get promoted or we win and Kean keeps his job. If Kean gets fired I'll happily purchase the new kits, get myself up to Ewood and support the team. But for now I can't bring myself to it. Hull City? Who cares.

Do they sense a story?................proud Kean and vile fans?? 5live, another mob who always love to stick the knife into the likes of us/Bolton/Wigans crowds. Bet they can't wait to slag the attendance and moan about the unhappy atmosphere. Thought that would be one thing we might leave behind after the prem and not being in the media eye the same
RoyRover Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 90 points? He's out of his mind. That's 30 wins. He's won 13 in two seasons! Oh and we'll draw this game 1-1.
