Nobert Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Kean is a worm. Claiming that he's not seen some of his new signings ever play is clearly a way of shifting as much blame as he can onto the equally ridiculous Singh. A cabal of morons. That is exactly what I thought when I saw the story on the BBC teletext. Whether it is the case, or he did see them and get them to come, who knows? Who knows who signed these players as our club is a right mess. And I seriously doubt Kean is under pressure for his job.
Brfcrule1 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I actually stated this before that I believe the owners approached managers before remember the rumours Avram Grant, Maradonna, Shearer now mentioned twice, Robinson,Holloway, Curbs etc.. I would imagine no other manager would work under these conditions even Sparky could you imagine sparky going in Monday morning Shebby comes in a while later morning Mark here are 6 players from Portugal work with them integrate them into the team don't worry I have scouted them they are all amazing one of them will be the next Cristiano Ronaldo for us!. I think many will know sparky would never put up with that for that matter neither would Big Sam or any self respecting manager most decent managers would have gone to the owners and told them where to stick the job. Unfortunately this odious individual is nether self=respecting or decent. I've said it before these clueless morons have turned us into the Newcastle of old of Lancashire they have made this job like the poisoned chalice that no manager would want however much dosh you throw at the next man sadly.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I agree.....people used to be like what players would want to come here? Others were like, they'll come if we offer them enough money....and that's what happened......a lot of clubs have bad owners.....Warnock just went to Leeds for example.....no money to spend, owner hated by the fans. We'll be able to attract managers.....I imagine Holloway would rather stay at Blackpool as they look real promotion candidates but you never know...they would probably just battle relegation again, it would take a lot of work to make them an established Prem side...maybe even he could be tempted....unlikely sure, if not probably every League 1 manager would love to come here, the same could be said for a lot of C'ship ones, not to mention the ones currently out of work. So what if it doesn't work out here....it's not gonna look too bad on their CV. Future employers would probably just disregard it....oh I see you were sacked from Blackburn, not surprised, their owners were clueless.
John Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Kean getting the **** ripped out of him again - http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3558/what-we-learned-this-week/2012/09/07/3358942/-
OJRovers Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I am currently in Portugal, got my eyes peeled for Kean celebrating a successful transfer window with his agent friends....
philipl Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Last three paragraphs of John's link: Singh, of course, is also the man who had only shortly before threatened to sack Kean (approximately 10 months too late) if he met the entirely arbitrary and ignorant criteria of losing the first three matches of the season. Poor, scared Steve is taking a poorly justified verbal battering at the least appropriate time of the season from the mouthy older boy before being forced to spend money on his mates and weakly defend his aggressor when anyone asks any question. WWLTW can't help but feel that we are watching a classic case of school bullying and that somebody should really step in before he writes some terrible adolescent poetry about it. Or you could buy into the wacky conspiracy theory of Kean staging a hilarious play-fight with Singh while comprehensively assassinating the club's future for motives unknown. Yeah, on second thoughts, let's just go with that. Highlighted that bit so certain posters can see what is becoming an obvious possibility to non-Rovers supporters who are asking why Kean is still at Ewood. OK for what it is worth- yes Balaji has been told "no thanks" by a succession of managers. Not surprising as the Rovers' job is not within his gift to offer anyway. Mock Singh all you want, but he has got top top football contacts the world over. That is not to say I have any idea what they think of him or even whether they would take his call... Either Kean has perfected his acting or he really does think he is perilously close to the garbage chute.
John Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Can always read too much into things but the Sky Sports video maybe suggests Kean is on the ropes a bit. Not as many of his annoying smiles or smirking – also, looks a bit uncomfortable and doesn’t answer the question on Singh and their “working relationship”. Near the end, he says we are moving forward but doesn’t look that convinced when saying it. Or perhaps he was sober for once.
tomphil Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 He looked a bit angry on it although maybe the sun was in his eye's but that has to be the first time ive seen any agression in his face !
Backroom DE. Posted September 7, 2012 Backroom Posted September 7, 2012 One thing I will say, despite dropping out of the premiership we're still very much in the media eye thanks to the circus that surrounds the club. Everybody at work already knew what Kean had said regarding not seeing signings play, we still appear fairly regularly on the BBC sport website etc. Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing really.
Mattyblue Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 True DE, when we were top 6 and UEFA cup qualifiers under Hughes we received nowhere near this amount of publicity.
philipl Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Well it is either a circus or Kean really is near the end. Chicken entrail readers needed.
RoyRover Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I just watched that interview on Sky. He certainly wants to make it clear that he had nothing whatsoever to do with these signings. Getting his excuses lined up early. God I hate this man. I really hate him.
PAFELL Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Well it is either a circus or Kean really is near the end. Chicken entrail readers needed. I think he is on his last chicken legs.
den Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I think he is on his last chicken legs. and everything could change with one fowl swoop. Trouble is, if anyone could replace the obnoxious manager with someone equally as obnoxious, it's the Venky's.
ABBEY Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 if anyone could replace the obnoxious manager with someone equally as obnoxious, it's the Venky's. they replaced one with kean
The Rover of Finland Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Been in sunny Alanya for 11 days, everything seems to be like always. The clown is here but washing his hands from new signings is new. Maybe he feels some pressure from the owners now? Just kidding. Never thought Rhodes would actually arrive. It´s amazing money spent on him, he better be a good player.
broadsword Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 and everything could change with one fowl swoop. Trouble is, if anyone could replace the obnoxious manager with someone equally as obnoxious, it's the Venky's. A change is as good as a rest. I've had it up to teh back teeth with Mr Kean. Horrible man.
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 they replaced one with kean Hahaha!
Ralfinho Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 nice to see Vukcevic gets a game for his country but cant even make our bench!!!
Nobert Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Now, I really would laugh my tits off if Kean was to become either the next Scotland manager, or part of the set-up at Hampden Park if the pressure builds on Craig Levine, and he gets the boot after Scotland fail again.

Majiball won't like the sound of that! But as an Englishman that sounds ace!!
