PAFELL Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Now, I really would laugh my tits off if Kean was to become either the next Scotland manager, or part of the set-up at Hampden Park if the pressure builds on Craig Levine, and he gets the boot after Scotland fail again. Sadly, never likely to happen.

Kean is now doing his last job in football. Just hope he doesn´t want to stay at the club as long as Ferguson at Utd.
RoyRover Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 nice to see Vukcevic gets a game for his country but cant even make our bench!!! When you have players like Edinho and Nunes in the squad, is it little wonder? Seriously though, how a player of this quality never gets a game for us is ridiculous.

Simon must have told Kean what a ###### he is.

He should be strongly considered; he's managed in the premier league, coached and played at a number of high level clubs all over Europe, has plenty of experience talking to the media, coped admirably under horrendous pressure from an ungrateful fan base and has successfully developed some of Scotland's hottest prospects. Anyone have an email address for the sfa that I can send this to?

With his eye for a player coupled with his ability to improve players 10 fold I can't see anything but Scotland winning the next 4 world cups!

Would the jocks understand what he was trying to do there though
BiggusLaddus Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 They would do after he'd driven over and explained it to them over a 'bud' (just the one though occifer).

G Somerset Rover Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Kean strikes again. Speaking about Markus Olsson: “He came raw, he came naive, I don't think he knew what his best position was. We feel as though he can play wide left or left back and are impressed at how he learns." So if you don't know his best position, how the hell is he meant to Steve?
The Rover of Finland Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Maybe Kean will say about himself someday. "I once was a football coach. I was a back stabbing idiot. Then someone felt I could do well as a puppet. I learnt so well I even needed bodyguards from loving fans. Of course there always minority who didn´t love me so much."
Mercer Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Interesting to see comments from Welsh fans about Coleman. We all know Coleman & Kean were once joined at the hip. IMO, neither can manage and both full of bullsh1t and making a mess of legacies from Speed & Allardyce.
Backroom Madon Posted September 12, 2012 Backroom Posted September 12, 2012 Could still be sacked next week according to the daily mail! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2202300/Steve-Kean-brink-Blackburn-sack.html?openGraphAuthor=%2Fhome%2Fsearch.html%3Fs%3D%26authornamef%3DChris%2BWheeler
bringdunnback Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Really don't want to get my hopes us, I'll believe it when I see it!! Think this the general opinion of most fans....
blueboy3333 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Could still be sacked next week according to the daily mail! http://www.dailymail...f=Chris+Wheeler God I hope that's true. It's the hope that is killing me. When does Kean;s contract actually expire? If it's soon it won't be too expensive to sack the useless dick.
RoyRover Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Could still be sacked next week according to the daily mail! http://www.dailymail...f=Chris+Wheeler I'm not getting carried away as there have been too many false dawns around this idiot and his imminent sacking. It does make for pleasant reading mind you. I'll believe it when I see it. Harry to takeover anyone?
J*B Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 End of the season his contract expires. Heres hoping a 0-0 and sacking for the weekend.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Really don't want to get my hopes us, I'll believe it when I see it!! Think this the general opinion of most fans.... Yea....although knowing Kean we'll just win our next 3 with improved performances. I'm not getting carried away as there have been too many false dawns around this idiot and his imminent sacking. It does make for pleasant reading mind you. I'll believe it when I see it. Harry to takeover anyone? Let's just wait and see if he goes....we all know it will be Shebby anyway. Wouldn't mind Bristol City's manager tbh.....as long as they have a bit of authority about them.
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Interesting. I've been feeling for a few weeks that the net was closing on the slippery git. Pre-Shebby Kean would have been over there during the break working his charm but it sounds like Shebby has been telling them how we've been playing.
USABlue Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Could still be sacked next week according to the daily mail! http://www.dailymail...f=Chris+Wheeler 100%speculation on that journo's part, for one it was 17 points from 7. He's just been trawling this board and is looking for a story, if it was gonna happen it would have, last May or sooner. I just don't see this idiot going anywhere.
Ricky Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I think it's fairly accurate. I have a feeling Bristol City could turn us over this weekend which will see Kean failing to reach his target. Just hope they make a sensible decision if he does get the boot. Bring in a decent manager with a huge promotion bonus. Think quite a few would be interested as we clearly have a good enough squad to go up. If the rumours of Adkins being close to the boot from Southampton are true we have to be looking at bringing him in.

bradeagle Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I wouldn't get your hopes up Ricky!! I know but its the glimer of hope that keep the rage! If it was cut and dry that he was defo staying or defo going it would be far better for the blood pressure.

If the rumours of Adkins being close to the boot from Southampton are true we have to be looking at bringing him in. Adkins has done an excellent job there, two succeesive promotions and they were unlucky in both Manchester matches. If they sack him, will be almost as scandalous as how Kean has kept his job. Once bumped into Adkins on a Saturday evening at Watford Gap Services and exchanged pleasantries. Really seemed a genuinely sincere guy.
Kelbo Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 He does have a good knack of working with and improving strikers, Billy Sharp and Martin Patterson at Scunthorpe, Ricky Lambert at Southampton to name but three, all unknown or unproven until they worked with Adkins, however, I believe our global advisor is looking at much bigger fish to fry!!
