longsiders1882 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Could be worse, from horses to snowmen?
Clitherover Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Simon Grayson has been sacked from Huddersfield. Haven't seen much of that deluded Hudds fan who reckoned they were going to get promoted on here recently, didn't someone have a bet on with him that we would finish above them?

Ben1142 if i remember correctly. i thought of him today when i heard the news, had a little chuckle to myself when i remembered that crap he was spouting
Backroom Tom Posted January 24, 2013 Backroom Posted January 24, 2013 Aren't they above us at the moment? Edit I see they are 4 points behind
Ricky Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Palace agree a fee for nick Blackman. Wonder if we had a sell on few when he left for Sheffield united.
Stuart Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Palace agree a fee for nick Blackman. Wonder if we had a sell on few when he left for Sheffield united. you think?
Backroom Tom Posted January 26, 2013 Backroom Posted January 26, 2013 Not that's its not all academic anyway but Watford are leading
rovers11 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Interesting to see Wolves lost again today. They are in serious danger of going down. They were woeful a few weeks ago against us and appointed a terrible manager. Not a fan of Saunders at all.
Ricky Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 2 teams above us losing 2-0 tonight. Millwall and Watford both behind.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Yea came in here just then to post that. People think 10 points is insurmountable but anyone can, and will, beat anyone else in this league. We just have to make sure we beat our promotion rivals.
Backroom Tom Posted January 29, 2013 Backroom Posted January 29, 2013 And the team beating Watford 2-0 is our opponents for Saturday, new manager in place it won't be a walkover
Salgado Is A Hero Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Certainly not but games we need to be winning. Anything less than 4 points from the next two and it's pretty much over imo.
roversfan99 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I think it's irretrievable now, based on both our squad and position, but we should be able to beat Ipswich and Bristol City at home.
longsiders1882 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Consistency is the key, especially at this point in the season. 10 points isn't insurmountable but it does require putting together a decent run of maybe 8 or 9 games with a high win percentage.
rovers11 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Wolves only 2 points off the drop zone and Bolton are only 4. Bolton will be ok but I have a sneaking feeling Wolves are going o get relegated. Teams like Barnsley know how to get out of this position. Wolves just cant shrug off that losing mentality and have appointed a poor manager.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Barnsley, P'boro and H'field is my prediction.
Clitherover Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I'd be stunned if Wolves went down even though they seem to have appointed a @#/? poor manager, they were favourites to win the league before the season started. Cardiff have as good as won the league, Hull or Leicester for second and whoever the form team at the time is to win the playoffs (hopefully us) Same as SIAH for relegation Huddersfield have been on a gradual slide and can see them going, would quite like them to anyway as their fans seem a bit gobby.
longsiders1882 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I thought we'd struggle this season, maybe we would be in more trouble if Howe hadn't done us a favour. Can't see Cardiff choking now so them and probably Leicester to go up, play offs are a lottery and not yet sure who'll be in there, someone will make a run yet, maybe Brighton. I just can't see Wolves going so maybe Barnsley, Peterborough and Bristol City. Would love to see Bolton go but again can't see it, don't think those 3 I listed will have enough to drag themselves out of it. I am now confident we won't go down and who knows, Charlie is back and scoring again so maybe we can finish top 8.
bypass06 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Just read this on Bristol's forum. Huddersfield are the team to watch... continuing their free fall. Hughesy Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Based on the last 10 years final standings in the championship - the max needed should be 75 points to get into the play-offs. So basically 35 from 51pts available
