philipl Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Keano really needs to be there at least until December 2nd. Bolton were absolute toss, by the way. 8 of their 11 played in their last Prem game and yet they were possibly the worst team I've seen on the Turf for about 18 months. Apparently they had 11 players who would all walk into our side. 'Appen they should have picked a few of them. And wait until you see Kevin Davies these days... Does Shebby Singh read this MB? If he does, he needs to take note of this post!

Stuart Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 It's been asked before - although it's more real now - would people take defeat to Bumley if it guaranteed Kean's removal? He's broken virtually every other unwanted record, this would be his nadir. The tension at Ewood against them is going to be unreal.
Ricky Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Steve Davies who we were linked to for a while has signed for Brizzle from Derby.
roverandout Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 yes i would take defeat against burnley to remove kean. I would take defeat in every game until that bald basket has been removed
Sparky Marky Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I hear a few pundits here and there saying rovers to go back up...it's like they're oblivious to everything.
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 I really don't give a ###### about Burnley, so even if Rovers managed to beat them both times I would still want him out.
Hughesy Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 It's been asked before - although it's more real now - would people take defeat to Bumley if it guaranteed Kean's removal? He's broken virtually every other unwanted record, this would be his nadir. The tension at Ewood against them is going to be unreal. No we are not allowed to lose to them no matter what
longsiders1882 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 and if the unthinkable happens hughesy? Even with a top drawer manager and squad football can throw up odd results here and there. I know we all need something to talk about but results in the first 2 or 3 games count for little overall - get to 10 games in and a real picture starts to emerge
broadsword Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Inevitable that we'll lose to Burnley as the current squad has no heart at all. They just won't be up for it. People really do overestimate how good our current side is. It's CRAP!
Backroom Tom Posted August 24, 2012 Backroom Posted August 24, 2012 Forest one up at Bolton Stunning goal
cn174 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Forest 1-0 up. Bolton fans booing. Bad fans, obviously.
Josh Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Stunning goal. I seem to remember us being linked with McGugan at some point last season
Plastic Head Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Pointing, marking the ref and giving the oppo the freedom to shoot. G Keith is still 4 divisions too high. And whoever hit Coyle in the face with that shovel was out of order
Ricky Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Said previously that forest were my tip for promotion.
mr bishi Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Cox is all action tonight. Forrest could be dark horses this year
Ricky Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Cox wasn't good enough for us according to most. He set one up in his first game and scored in his second.
Mercer Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Watched Bolton v Forest, very entertaining match. Forest impressive and looked a far more organised and cohesive unit than Rovers - big question, can they maintain it, though past seasons have shown, momentum can be everything in this league. Bolton dire for first 30 minutes but got better. Wouldn't rule them out.
Backroom Tom Posted August 24, 2012 Backroom Posted August 24, 2012 2-2 Perfect result for the other teams aiming for promotion
Sparky Marky Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 2-2 Perfect result for the other teams aiming for promotion Steady on mate....we're only 2 games into 46....
Sparky Marky Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Note I didn't include us in that Good job or else slapdiick would print it off, frame it and use it as evidence in the next bum-in with Grotbags.
bob fleming Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Forest 1-0 up. Bolton fans booing. Bad fans, obviously. Booing at a football match? It's barbaric. I'll ring the Guardian.
thenodrog Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Blackpool 6 - Ipswich 0 "Full credit to Ipswich I think they are an excellent side" Steve Kean (seven days ago.) I might take in a match or two at my automatic promotion choice Blackpool this season. Sounds like fun..... and there has been precious little of that at Ewood for nigh on two years now.
FourLaneBlue Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 We can't go on playing like we are and keep getting away with it. We'll lose at Leeds, that's for sure, unless Kean picks a decent side for once and doesn't try to make us defend for the last 88 minutes. Kean has never won 3 league games in a row. Could he really break that stat?
