RevidgeBlue Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Jan Aage Fjortoft (sp?) just been on Talksport saying he is certain Solskjaer would have no interest at all in working for Tan.
Stuart Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 I can think of one man who would be delighted to come back from the cold and work for an owner who loves the club, and promises the fans exciting times around the corner. Nixon's copy writes itself. Seriously, how did we put up with that for so long?
Guest Norbert Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Tan is another know-nothing pillock from some footballing 3rd world country, who buys a club and has no idea about how to do things properly. If Ole had any sense, he'd stay at Molde and go nowhere near this joke owner. He may get on with Tan for a month, but then he'll play a game 'the wrong way' but draw against Man City or something and then Tan will be publicly gunning for him. I can only really see Sven Goran Eriksson and in this job. He'll just happily agree with Tan's interference and dictatorial style so long as he gets his big wages. No idea who the Turkish bloke who is 3rd favourite is though.
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Have you learned nothing from Rovers' experience of sacking Allardyce, Chaddy? the problem after Rovers owners sacked Allardyce was that Venkys listened to the wrong advice and should have appointed a proper replacement. they were plenty of good managers out there at the time. I wanted Laudrup or Bilic or RDM at the time. looked at the outcry when Dalglish(Liverpool manager) or Adkins(Southampton manager) or Hughton(Newcastle manager) were sacked at their club at the time. Now looked where Liverpool, Southampton or Newcastle are in the league. they appointed the right manager. Venkys didn't You also keep saying that Big Sam plays boring football. Why do you like Bowyer who also play boring football? Big Sam has spend over 50 mil there and shouldn't be in the bottom 3 at all. he spend 15 mil on a injury prone striker and now been found out that he need a target man to play his style of football. this summer he had all summer to get a striker in and couldn't. wonder why nobody wanted to go there? manager the problem? wages? fees? I don't think Bowyer plays boring football. we have played some really good football this season. games like Blackpool and Bournemouth away, Bolton home, Barnsley home.
roversfan99 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Really good at Blackpool is stretching it horribly. So you wanted to see the back of a manager that had us 10th the previous season?
Majiball Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 What if he wanted us to play in claret and blue...? He'd not do that. He adopted red for the welsh connection and that to his homeland (can't remember where) to sell shirts. I think a better comparison would be that he'd change the halves perhaps to blue quarters divided by a white diagonal cross. Like below: I could get on board with that
Stuart Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 Nowt to do with Wales and everything to do with Malaysia. All about selling shirts in a country where red is supposed to be a good omen. Not sure why you'd want us to play in a shirt covered in blue triangles. Maybe on your pyjamas, Maj.

Stuart Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 Surprised you went with pyjamas I'd have expected boxers or some such item that could be soiled.I'm sure you could manage to soil your pyjamas if you tried hard enough, Maj! 💩
Majiball Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I'm sure you could manage to soil your pyjamas if you tried hard enough, Maj! Is that a request?
Stuart Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 Er... no? :slightly scared and edging gingerly away from Majiball emoticon:
Majiball Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 That's good, but I had to ask as I know what you stuarts are like!
Majiball Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Whilst on the subject of skidmarks Sam must have one or two given the half-time score. Lose today and I don't think he'll have long.
davulsukur Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Lose today and he will be gone I reckon Maj.
Majiball Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 He was better suited to Real Madrid, anyway. Wish he would go to Madrid that way I wouldn't have to read his tripe everyday!
Backroom Tom Posted December 28, 2013 Backroom Posted December 28, 2013 Sam lives to see another day! Big chunk of luck with the second but he won't care
Backroom DE. Posted December 28, 2013 Backroom Posted December 28, 2013 3-3 now... sounds like one hell of a game!
Audax Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Quite a good match, West Ham vs. West Brom. Not really for the Hammers but would like to see Allardyce do well and WBA has just come back to draw it up, excellent watch. 3-3, 70th minute.
Backroom Tom Posted December 28, 2013 Backroom Posted December 28, 2013 He needs to win this now conceding 3 at home and not winning wouldn't go down well Fancy wet spam to win still
Majiball Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Obviously my comments spurred him on to do better!! Pity I could tolerate Sam better now I've had to endure the loons from Pune and everyone else.
Backroom DE. Posted December 28, 2013 Backroom Posted December 28, 2013 Sam desperately needs to reinforce West Ham's defence in the window... whatever they have now is nowhere near good enough. It's bizarre to see an Allardyce team concede the way West Ham do.
