patrickvalery Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I wonder how much Barclays paid for everyone to constantly refer to the division as "The Barclays Premier League". Its really annoying. Everytime i hear it it just reminds me of that bald Scottish tw@t foaming at the mouth.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 1, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 1, 2014 Brilliant finish from Willian there for Chelsea. Allardyce may get a stay of execution with the January window now being open, but losing to Fulham, and Nolan getting sent off again.....
Amo Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Allardyce may get a stay of execution with the January window now being open, but losing to Fulham, and Nolan getting sent off again..... Could West Ham afford to sack him? He's one of the highest paid managers in Europe.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 1, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 1, 2014 Could West Ham afford to sack him? He's one of the highest paid managers in Europe. As much as I think it would be the wrong move, if they're worried about relegation, could they afford not to?
Amo Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 As much as I think it would be the wrong move, if they're worried about relegation, could they afford not to? Seeing as Allardyce is the only manager ever who can keep you in the PL, they should think again.
Backroom DE. Posted January 1, 2014 Backroom Posted January 1, 2014 United are a very average side these days. Just about good enough to beat most of the poorer teams in the league (of which there are plenty) but struggle against the better teams. 4 defeats at OT this season now.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 1, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 1, 2014 Januzaj has been attending Ashley Young's diving classes....
ABBEY Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Seeing as Allardyce is the only manager ever who can keep you in the PL, they should think again. Funny haWell done Tim Sherwood ///Was scabby minge right about Sherwood
John Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Attacking wise, Man Utd look very average at the moment. Combined with conceding sloppy goals, it's not a great mix. As Sherwood said post match, they are there for the taking at the moment.

Oh for the day when he leaves Old Trafford at half-time because the fans are singing 'Moyes out'. Maybe his Glaswegian mate will publicly sympathise with him and offer him some advice.
Guest Norbert Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Well, if Kean was getting 500 letters a week, imagine how many Moyes will be getting with all the plastic Manc fans. And Solskjaer is risking a lot for quick cash. Goodness knows what Tan will do if he has a bit of a bad run. He'll be sacked and possibly disappear like Berg, Dowie and many others who were once seen as promising managers but ended up at the wrong club. This will not work out for either party.
CapeTownRover Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 wrong time for OGS to take the Cardiff job.

If he's managed to get a long contract he's laughing all the way to the bank cos if he's sacked early doors then all the blame will be on Tan and OGS will get a massive pay off before quickly getting another job. He or his agent have played a blinder.
Guest Norbert Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Yep. So I doubt there is a big pay out. The only thing that might be in his favour is public sympathy if Tan messes him around like he did to Makay.

The only thing that might be in his favour is public sympathy if Tan messes him around like he did to Makay. Equally, it may all be forgotten about if Solskjaer gets them into the top 10 and playing good football. This is (imo) just Adkins/Pocchetino mkII.

If David Moyes is that unhappy about Howard Webbs performance then he should just fine him two weeks wages
Audax Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 SAF complained a lot, so have a lot of other gaffers. Unfortunately, the squeaky wheel may get the grease, unfortunately, managers may need to gripe from time to time.

In saying that, if OGS gets Cardiff out of trouble, then i suppose fair play to him and Tan.
ABBEY Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Did anyone see on the news the bricking the scousers gave the Hull fans. Crazy someone could very easily of died .
Amo Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 What a monster that Anelka is with his "anti-semitic" salute! Nevermind that "anti-Zionist" and "anti-semitic" are two fundamentally different things, you upset the establishment and you'll be labelled a racist or a Jew-hater. RIP Freedom of expression.

Nothing new from that lot. Freedom of expression went with the fatwa on Salman Rushdie and another on all of Norway.
thenodrog Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Re: Lallana /Clattenburg. Southampton need to wind their necks in ... unless of course they can prove that none of their players ever insults or swears at a referee! If any notice is taken of the soft southern barstewards it will set a dangerous precedent. As it is I reckon the Referees 'Union' will effectively give Soton players sweet FA for the rest of the season. That'll cost them and make them less gobby in future I'm sure.
Guest Norbert Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 What was it that Clettenberg is supposed to have said? Frankly, the amount of whining and bitching those brats give off to all and sundry would probably make me say something stronger. Man Utd were awful when Keane was captain.
