What was it that Clettenberg is supposed to have said?

Frankly, the amount of whining and bitching those brats give off to all and sundry would probably make me say something stronger. Man Utd were awful when Keane was captain.

Allegedly something along the lines of: you're different since you played for England. You never used to be like this.

To be it sounds like a bit of a joke from Clattenburg, silly over reaction.

Indeed. Sounds like Lallana would do well to stop being so precious and man up.

Next time Clattenberg refs a Southampton game, he should present Adam with a pink handbag. With a tiara from Claire's Accessories or Primark in it.

What a pathetic carry on from a grown man.

OGS needs to get to a PL club now, prove himself then when Moyes gets shoved aside can take up the mantle at Man Utd.

I know it's League Cup but UTD LOST AGAIN! First time they've had 3 consecutive losses in 12 years apparently.

GOOD!

How awful are United now? Moyes has absolutely ruined them

I love seeing his wrinkly face when he just hasn't got a clue what to do. He has aged remarkably in the last few months and it will only be a matter of time before the fans turn on him. There was a great shot of Ferguson, Robson and Charlton and the end all looking glum.

Think Ferguson is starting to realise he @#/? up big time selecting Moyes as his successor.

A 6 year contract as well... madness.

Did anyone see on the news the bricking the scousers gave the Hull fans. Crazy someone could very easily of died .

Oldham fan stabbed at the weekend also outside Anfield, if it was Leeds or Millwall it would have been national news, but both incidents have hardly been mentioned.

Wonder if it would be different had it been the other way around

Come on, man. Have some respect. Remember Hillsborough.

The counter-attack to that is 'remember Heysel'. I have nothing against scousers or Liverpool FC, but I doubt the stabbed Oldham fan was part of the cover up over that. One tragedy does not excuse moronic acts of violence 25 years later.

Plenty of ManUre fans on radio phone ins last night saying Moyes just doesn't have the swagger and arrogance you need and expect from a Manchester United manager which ties in with what I said a month or two ago about him looking and sounding completely out of his depth much like Hodgson at Liverpool.

As for the game placed 8 quid on Sunderland HT/FT at 15/2 for a nice little 60 quid profit.

Man Ure losing and making money out of their woes. Priceless!

Said it before Rev but for me the psychological edge and the fear factor is gone

With Fergie you knew the had the fortitude to pull a game back but now you just don't expect them to, his influence with refs is also gone

Let's face it with Ferguson's record and longevity anyone following in his footsteps was on a loser. A bit like England's ashes triumph last summer the championship triumph last season was a last hurrah for that team and it needs rebuilding. United aren't a sacking club and their fans will have to get used to the fact that under Moyes they won't be winning the title again for quite some time.
