It's a bit of a conundrum with Sam. Like him as a man and a manager yet cannot stand the club he is managing. To get a good result when it really mattered like yesterday was typical of him. I think West Ham's owners will stick by him and they will survive when they get all their injured players back but I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave in the summer. Over to you Venky's .......

"Good manager" is the bit that counts for me. Don't know him personally and don't care.

When Venkys sacked him though they replaced him with a man who was a disaster of a manager and a total tosser as well.

Whatever you think of Sam, saving us from relegation plus a top 10 finish is more than enough to be grateful for....

Sadly for you it it wasn't hindsight. I reminded you that both Arsenal and Tottenham conceeded 6 at City and Norwich 7, allowing you to consider West Hams result in some sort of context, but that went straight over your head and personal agenda.

I pointed out the Cardiff game was the more important fixture as well to help you along further.

You said I was mirroring the rubbish Allardyce spouts.

They lose one 5-0, one 6-0 and win the other 2-0. You work it out. Amazing he got that reaction after 'losing' his players.

What reaction ? He played his better players against a weaker team and got lucky. If Cardiff had taken their chances West Ham would not be enjoying a two nil victory.

It was interesting to see though Jarvis set up Carlton Cole for his goal then C.Cole in his celebrations totally blank Jarvis running past him as if Jarvis wasnt there when he'd put the goal on a plate for him - not good to see from a team point of view.

Citeh 1-0 up at Newcastle already. Cracking finish from Dzeko.

I have never seen anything like that.

The officials have just rewound the offside rule back 20 years to rule out an absolute thunderbolt from Tiote (sp?).

Borderline cheating from the officials.

That ref that looks like Vince Grella has made a HUGE error in the Newcastle and City game, denied Newcastle a goal that he thought took a nick off an offside player, but actually didn't....

Lino doesn't flag

City complain

Lino decides its offside after all

Corrupt

The ref has completely lost this game. Could be some red cards as a result of complete incompetence.

I'm fuming and I don't even particularly like Newcastle.

Disgusting decision. Why are there so many bad decisions made by these supposedly elite referees?

You wouldn't mind if he flagged initially and then after discussion disallowed it but the fact he didn't flag at all shows he had no intention of calling anyone offside until the players moaned at the ref

If that's Toure that scores it it's a goal every time

Disgusting

Pardew who's 5 years younger than him...

What a complete bell-end.

Really? Looks about 25 years younger!

Geordies robbed by the referee. Lucky bounce makes it look comfortable for City.

Just hope they get some karma on Wednesday and we are the ones who benefit. A Rovers penalty deep in injury time at 0-0 will do. Jordan will do the rest.

Cissoko gets a goal in an almost carbon copy effort to Tiote except his awful shot deflected in off the unlucky defender.

No justice in football.

Linesman can't be faulted cos there were 3 NUFC players in offside positions. The ref had to decide if they were interfering. imo the NUFC player could be interpreted as interfering cos he moved out of the way of the shot which appeared to be going to hit him.

Offside is a stupid rule these days as it's down to interpretation and is not cast in tablets of stone as it once was. If I was Pardew I'd be angry at the players who didn't appear to be even attempting to get back onside.
