Don't think I've ever seen a more pathetic penalty shoot out. Paid tens of thousands a week and can't even hit the target. It's horrific.

You can forgive Januzaj considering his age and the fact he basically carries the entire team. The rest of them should be ashamed of themselves. Hilarious to watch though  enjoying seeing Moyes get humiliated.

Before the match:
Stupid question possibly: So if we get to the final and get battered by City- do we then get the Europa cup spot available to the winners of said cup given City will get Champions league instead by finishing in the top four?

Dear me, it's glorious what the plastics have been reduced to in such a short space of time.

Not yet, Abs. Wait til they are relegation candidates. Surely you can 'see what he is trying to do there'.

Take the positives. He's clearly forfeited a day out at Wembley to focus on the league.

Without Rooney and RVP United are a very, very average team. The likes of Buttner, Welbeck, Evans and Cleverly wouldn't look out of place at the likes of Fulham or Villa. Ferguson could get an extra 10-20% out of these players, but now he's gone Moyes has not only brought them back down to their actual level but is arguably making a lot of the players in that team worse. They are going to get absolutely murdered when they come up against a decent team in the Champions League.

Mata is a quality player. Great signing for utd, no idea how Jose doesn't rate him.

The utd squad needs rebuilding and mata is a great start. Depressing.

I'm yet to be convinced that Mata is as good as his press. A fine player but not a worldie.... and 40m should buy a worldie.

May be of interest to some, we use to get some "A-League" matches every weekend, I'll have to look up where they have them on satellite now:

A consortium led by Manchester City have bought A-League club Melbourne Heart, with the owners of NRL club Melbourne Storm also involved.

After struggling to make an impact on and off the field since making their debut in the competition in 2010, Heart had been the subject of a bid from Victorian Premier League club South Melbourne last year.
