Guest Norbert Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 1-0 Crapston Villa. Rafael gave away another free kick and got a yellow card. He is rubbish.

Guest Norbert Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 1-0 Crsytal Palace. They are all over Chelsea and John Terry has scored an own goal.
Mike Graham Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 1-0 Crsytal Palace. They are all over Chelsea and John Terry has scored an own goal. And Jerome just hit the post for Palace, sounds like it should have been 2-0.
Backroom Tom Posted March 29, 2014 Backroom Posted March 29, 2014 Bloody hell Liverpool are going to win the league The world will never hear the end of this one
Backroom DE. Posted March 29, 2014 Backroom Posted March 29, 2014 Still think it'll be City - Liverpool have come closer than anybody thought they would though! Just being back in the Champions League next season will be huge for them.
Guest Norbert Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 If they beat Spurs, then not lose to Chelsea and Man City, they'd do it. It will all come down to those two home games. And to think some were saying Rodgers was crap when he had about a year at the job. I knew he would be a good manager for them, but I'm surprised how good this season has been for them. Not sure Moyes will do the same next season though.
John Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Thought West Ham were relegated back in December, they looked down and out. The old faves on here, Topman and Revidge were loving it. Still need another win or so - regardless but as we saw here, Big Sam is a very good manager
The Rover of Finland Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Liverpool has offered some many good laughs during the years but now they are offering the most entertaining football. Gerrard is doing brilliant job in his new role and Sturridge is in flames. Suarez is the best player in the league by a mile. Really hope they can win the title.
Paul Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Liverpool has offered some many good laughs during the years . You must be very young. LFC has arguably been one of the finest clubs in this country. Certainly streets ahead of Utd. I'm talking about quality and ethos not simply results. I for one will be delighted if the title ends up at Anfield.
ABBEY Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Good god no Paul ... You would never here the end of it .
Guest Norbert Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 At least your brother in law isn't a scouse Liverpool fan Abbey . Seeing as I grew up in the 80's, Liverpool winning would feel very retro for me. They need to bring back grey away kits sponsored by Crown Paints to complete that for me.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 30, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted March 30, 2014 Watching MOTD and as poor as Newcastle were, Southampton looked excellent, Lallana in particular. It's a good job they had such a strong first half of the season, since Cabaye has gone their form has been horrific.

It's a good job they had such a strong first half of the season, since Cabaye has gone their form has been horrific. Lallana can be Englands Ozil if Woy can step up to the mark with squad selection and tactics. Not sure he will though. Too much interference from external sources imo.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 30, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted March 30, 2014 Best thing is, he's so two-footed, and very skilful. Must be a nightmare to play against.
roversfan99 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Lallana can be Englands Ozil if Woy can step up to the mark with squad selection and tactics. Not sure he will though. Too much interference from external sources imo. You asked me in another thread who the leaders are in our team, implying that I cannot know. So what does that last sentence mean exactly. Sounds like something Mercerman would have said.
Audax Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Rodriguez scoring 2 goals is English, it's almost like England should just send Southampton to play in the World Cup, they only started 3 foreigners. http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2014/03/29/england/premier-league/southampton-fc/newcastle-united-football-club/1483772/?ICID=PL_MS_05 Fulham scores, tied up at Craven Cottage.
Paul Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 So Liverpool 3-0 up with 20 minutes to play. That must put them 2 points clear of Chelsea and 4 on City. Both clubs have to go to Anfield. This is Liverpool's to lose now.
Backroom DE. Posted March 30, 2014 Backroom Posted March 30, 2014 That Shebby, he can sure spot a manager, right guys?
Stuart Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 Step too far for Sherwood. Time to come home, Tim. Maybe Shebby is watching from afar. Would people accept Sherwood with Bowyer as first team coach? That Shebby, he can sure spot a manager, right guys? -1.Lazy armchair punditry. Singh was recruiting for a Championship side, Levy recruited for a Champions League chasing side. But Levy is crap too of course.
Backroom Tom Posted March 30, 2014 Backroom Posted March 30, 2014 Can't see past Liverpool unfortunately but they've earnt it this season They will batter Chelsea at home, I still feel city are possibly man for man the best in the league but they will end up second
perthblue02 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Wouldn't mind either City or Liverpool winning it, whichever annoys the manure supporters most is good for me.
Majiball Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I don't want pool to win it, I'm still hopeful either chelsea or City will pip them. If they do I will no longer be able to retort with we won the premier league! I don't actually think it would do them good to win it, they haven't had europe to cope with this year and fans expectations will soar if they do. Will they be able to repeat it next year with an extra 10 games and all the traveling?
Backroom DE. Posted March 30, 2014 Backroom Posted March 30, 2014 -1. Lazy armchair punditry. Singh was recruiting for a Championship side, Levy recruited for a Champions League chasing side. But Levy is crap too of course. Sherwood has shown nothing to suggest he would have been a success here. Clearly struggles controlling his emotions, has been found out tactically multiple times already with a hugely expensive team, no managerial record before joining Spurs and probably would have demanded a long contract based on his very public notifications of negotiations between he and the Spurs board. What we needed was experience, not another ex-player with no managerial record.
Guest Norbert Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Sherwood may be good at our level, but at Spurs' level he is rubbish. Tonked by all the bigger teams this season, can't get his team to string a couple of passes together was woeful against Southampton and Liverpool, is far too emotional and seems the sort who'd get in a scrap with the boardroom.
roverandout Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I think they will be looking for a new manager in the summer, they have a chairman who puts things right if it doesn't work out
