thenodrog Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 He's on a stupidly high wage at Utd, not sure the bigwigs would want him sat on the bench, or in the reserves! I'd imagine they'd welcome bids to get out of it. Moyes lasting legacy to the Glasers.

davulsukur Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Its certainly an option but now it means someone has to pick up the tab. Its like Leon Best all over again

davulsukur Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/27484318 I guess Toure wants out. Could have used a better excuse than that though.
AspRover Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Just an astonishingly silly pretence for asking for more money, surely?
davulsukur Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Could very well be angling for a new contract. Or a Bugatti. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/27357306 I also see West Ham have decided to stick with Sam but they expect to see progress on the pitch. They talk about the West ham way and all that bobbins. Are the owners just trying to appease the fans? They stuck by him in the past in the face of fan unrest. Maybe they are trying to turn the heat down. If they are being serious and they are effectively questioning Sams methods, he should do himself a favour and walk now.

Doesn't feel like full backing to me. Maybe a majority decision, hence the "qualification"..
Baz Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Thats a truely awful statement from West Ham.... Sam was asked to give a detailed presentation...the manager has agreed to an attacking coach. Seriously? What reason do they have for thinking they are better than most of the other clubs in that league.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 20, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted May 20, 2014 'The West Ham way' shine a light, have they been drinking?

I bet Sam was hoping to be paid off, he'll probably have to wait till around December now.
Stuart Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 'The West Ham way' That should be what they name one of the streets surrounding the Olympic Stadium...
perthblue02 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 That should be what they name one of the streets surrounding the Olympic Stadium... and it should in theory look very pretty in a traditional way but get you nowhere except once or twice every 30 odd years or so
Backroom DE. Posted May 21, 2014 Backroom Posted May 21, 2014 I'd imagine they'd welcome bids to get out of it. Moyes lasting legacy to the Glasers. From what I read the other day on the BBC most if not all of Rooney's wages are covered by the image rights money United get for him... so not sure they're under huge pressure to sell him financially.

Rooney has an image that people will pay big money for?? Struth!
Backroom Tom Posted May 22, 2014 Backroom Posted May 22, 2014 So Derek Shaw and David Moyes walk into a bar..... http://www.itv.com/news/2014-05-22/ex-manchester-united-boss-david-moyes-accused-of-assaulting-man-during-lancashire-bar-fight/
Al Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 So Derek Shaw and David Moyes walk into a bar..... http://www.itv.com/news/2014-05-22/ex-manchester-united-boss-david-moyes-accused-of-assaulting-man-during-lancashire-bar-fight/ Love to know what he said to him. :lol
thenodrog Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Fair play to Moyes if the chap was being an arse. Not much chance that Derek Shaw would tag him is there?
yoda Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Fair play to Moyes if the chap was being an arse. Not much chance that Derek Shaw would tag him is there? maybe it went like, "I am right behind you Moyesey" "I haven't signed yet Degsy"
West Yorks Rover Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Surely the CCTV pictures will find the guilty party and if Moyes has lamped the lad he will be charged and the courts will find him guilty. Oh wait though, he'll probably employ Stevie Gerrard's solicitor.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 14, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted March 14, 2015 Matt Phillips has just scored an absolute banger for QPR against Palace. Ludicrous effort from 45 yards or so out that just sailed in!
chaddyrovers Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 QPR were shocking today. no passion or pride
Backroom DE. Posted March 14, 2015 Backroom Posted March 14, 2015 Seems almost certain they're going down... and apparently have a £50m fine to deal with if they do. That'll be most of their parachute payments wiped out...
Husky Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 QPR were shocking today. no passion or pride That's what I thought when we beat them 2-0 at home last season.
Backroom DE. Posted March 14, 2015 Backroom Posted March 14, 2015 Going to be difficult for Poyet to come back from what's happening today... they started the second half with ten men because Larsson was nowhere to be found, then limped onto the pitch injured a few minutes later bizarre.
