Amo Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Buffoon? Have you watched Match of the Day in the last eight years? Or as it's now known 'The Alan Shearer Show'?

davulsukur Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Just from an entertainment perspective, it would have been interesting. He might have been able to keep them up. Then, it's a big responsibility and risk for a manager as well. There's not much more entertaining than watching Newcastle get relegated.
47er Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Gav has assured me that Newcastle are safe! Mind you they'd only lost 5 in a row then!!
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Apparently they haven't won a game since that Shearer advert appeared. Burnley, Newcastle and QPR to go down, doesn't get much better than that.
J*B Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Hull are seemingly @#/? - and i take great pleasure in seeing Steve Bruce's reputation falling down around him. He's been @#/? rubbish everywhere he's ever been, especially in the transfer market.
chris_h Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 No surprise there K-Hod. The station is absolute sh1te, look me a while to realise it but finally the penny dropped. Danny Kelly is wasted on there, the polar opposite to Adrian Durham who is an absolute c0ck. I reckon Sunderland and Hull will only get one more point each with Sunderland to go down on goal difference.

Rover_Shaun Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 But like us NOW they are finding he's not necessarily the best manager............in Newcastle
1arC Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Shades of BRFC exactly 3 years ago... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32627362 Excellent article that, it must have been written on April 1st. It definitely has all the Hallmarks of delusion, just like one of our former managers, who can't spot a pln flying overhead, but see all the pink elephants!
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Strange comment that. I had nothing really against him before but now at least I won't feel sorry for him if they (hopefully) go down. I've heard enough from delusional clowns in football to last me a lifetime.
Blue blood Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Mad comments from Newcastle manager and more than arrogance they're rank stupidity. Is it really going to endear anyone to him? The fans? The players? The press? I know it''s a hard job up there but he's really not helping himself at all...
ABBEY Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Couldn't happen to to a better set of delusionals .. Apart from nobbers
jim mk2 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Carver strikes me as like Steve Kean, an over-promoted coach without the tactical nous or intelligence to be a successful manager. He wouldn't get near a manager's job if he hadn't been a permanent fixture at Newcastle for decades. Newcastle fans must be among the most stupid in the country. They forced out Allardyce and were promptly relegated and they forced out Pardew and look like suffering a similar fate. And they still think the Toon is the biggest club in the land. I hope they go down.
davulsukur Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Shades of BRFC exactly 3 years ago... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32627362 Wow, that's amazing confidence from Carver. Newcastle fans must be doing their nut with interviews like that. Pass the popcorn.
Backroom DE. Posted May 7, 2015 Backroom Posted May 7, 2015 Wow, that's amazing confidence from Carver. Newcastle fans must be doing their nut with interviews like that. Pass the popcorn. Perhaps he's doing it on purpose to try and take attention away from the players - especially after he heaped a whole load of attention on them at the weekend.
davulsukur Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Perhaps he's doing it on purpose to try and take attention away from the players - especially after he heaped a whole load of attention on them at the weekend. Yer, you could be right on that one. He needed to do something, he made a huge call to slate players individually after the last defeat. Not sure what he has done is the right way to go about it but still. You won't see him in a managers job again after the next 3 games though.
Audax Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Sunderland wins, now has 36 points and leapfrogs a few clubs to #16th, I think that's the way it looks now.
Husky Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Is anyone looking forward to the trip to Hull next season?
thenodrog Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Everton v Sland possession stats make interesting reading. Burnley cannot finish above Sunderland now.
Jock Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Is anyone looking forward to the trip to Hull next season? No but it could be worse, Boothferry Park was awful.
ABBEY Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 They had nails on the fences at the top that spun round .
perthblue02 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Burnley have just gone past 10 HOURS without a goal. and WBA score
Audax Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Newcastle answers 1-1. 1 of these 4 will go down as the table is now. Sunderland Aston Villa Newcastle Hull. After today: Hull's remaining fixtures, Spurs and Manchester United, hence, I'd think they would go down versus the others but win today, they'd have 37 points, so really, their season is now.
