Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Linesman robs Newcastle of an equaliser. Onside and with the line of the 6 yard box in front of him, still mucked it up. Definite handball penalty appeal turned down for Mackems. Two wrongs and all that... Pardew before it was disallowed hahaha.

Stuart Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Nothing compared to Di Canio's Mourinho-esque celebrations.
cn174 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 So glad, can't stick Pardew!! I wonder how many of them Sunderland fans who said they didn't want di Canio to be their manager have changed their mind now!!! He's just mental. I was thinking though that if he had become Rovers manager then he'd be the most normal thing about us!
Audax Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 DiCanio brought some Italians in as his assistance. Got to admit, I think Italians could have a good, maybe organic understanding of the game and see this as a nut they can crack, Sunderland may move up, Everton next but conceivably, Stoke or another club could become a part of the mix at the bottom of the table. I think the threshold to stay up this year, could be something like 41 or even 42 points which has happened before.
Clitherover Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I had Newcastle to win heavily and Sunderland to flop badly under Di Canio, shows what I know.
Audax Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Wonder goal by Demba, Chelsea to get back into this...wow. I figured Man City would win this thing ahead of time but it's getting interesting, Chelsea 1 Man City 2
Backroom Tom Posted April 14, 2013 Backroom Posted April 14, 2013 Another huge game with the outcome heavily influenced by sub standard officiating There is no doubt that City should have been down to 9 men and Chelsea should have had a late penalty It's just not good enough
Stuart Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Shocker by Aguero. Why do these brilliant players need to do this sort of thing? Made worse by that fact that the dozy officials miss them. Should get a 3 match ban. But won't.
Guest Norbert Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Pardew before it was disallowed hahaha. You'd fancy Di Canio to tw_t him one and put him on his arse if he carried on like that.

Crazy country now, ours!
jim mk2 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 West Ham played a good game tonight, high tempo, aggressive, in United's faces for 90 minutes and with no little skill and finesse. Just like watching Rovers two or three ago. Well done Sam.

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Get over it, he ain't coming back You might get over it, I don't think Rovers will.

Backroom Mike E Posted April 17, 2013 Backroom Posted April 17, 2013 You might get over it, I don't think Rovers will. Managers come and go. Yes, the world and his dog know we should've kept Sam, but we didn't. Life sucks, boo-hoo, move on.

John Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Daily Mail journo @Ian_Ladyman_DM: So finally Sam Allardyce gets recognition for substance and occasional style. Have people finally opened their eyes to this? #entertainment

Have people finally opened their eyes to this? #entertainment Fully agree with him. About bloody time too. Bolton played some terrific stuff in his final 2 years there (as did we -Under Sam- in that dreaded 'Kean in' season). With a club like WestHam (Olympic Stadium and immense youth set-up), he may even get them into the heady heights of Europa League or Champion's League. G'wan Sam!
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 18, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted April 18, 2013 Thought WHU were very good last night, I've been impressed with Diame every time I've seen him play for them, very good signing from the pie-munchers. Ferguson saying Carroll should have been sent off for the collision with De Gea, it's about as ridiculous as saying Ashley Williams 'could have killed' Van Persie when he booted the ball at his head!!
John Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Thought the same re Diame - earlier in the season he looked quality but went through a poor patch, think he was injured for a while and there talk of Arsenal being in for him.
Backroom DE. Posted April 20, 2013 Backroom Posted April 20, 2013 It looks like this is probably going to be the year Wigan finally take the drop. Have to say its about time, they've done nothing but flirt with relegation for years. It had to come eventually.

Have to say its about time, they've done nothing but flirt with relegation for years. It had to come eventually. And if we stay up, Wigan come down an Bolton stay down there will be a plethora of local derbies next season. On the down side a long trip to Bournemouth beckons.
Backroom Tom Posted April 21, 2013 Backroom Posted April 21, 2013 Suarez just bit Ivanovic, horrible little scumbag needs a long ban
