He has probably forgotten more than you'd ever know, but about McCarthy he is a very good 1st division manager but can't cut it at the top level.

Wolves showed they had some very deep running issues in the club this year in my view, Wolves might have still been relegated from the PL but they might have been top half of the Championship League table this year with McCarthy, maybe playoff spot with MM in there. I thought one year, Wolves had a few victories of the top clubs, Chelsea for instance in the Premier League a few years ago. Shocking for them this year, we can only count ourselves fortunate. Just my view on all this.

Always in that tracksuit, he was.

Of course, when you say "top level", that may be so. That's high calibre, maybe he isn't suited for that.

What's Benitez doing at the end of the season ?

He's done an excellent job at Chelsea in incredibly difficult circumstances, he seems to love working in England and the idiots in India could have a moment of inspiration and wave a wad of cash in his face.

Cue tin hat.

Tin hat? Straitjacket more like if you think Benitez would come here, or if you think we could afford to chuck a wad of cash at him!!

Luckily for them Stoke are awful as well. Two teams who will be involved in the relegation fight again next year, IMO, assuming Sunderland don't drop this year.

I think he was trying to prove he isn't a closet red, and overdid it. Raphael did kick him, but Luiz was a complete tit with his reaction.

Swansea just had an indirect free kick from 7 yards which they tapped then blazed straight over with every Wigan player on the line

Why do they always pass it? Just blast it at the mass of players and its likely to go in off

Edit - Commentator just said the same

Because you're not allowed to score directly from an indirect free kick?

Hence "in off" [one of the defenders].

May as well try it given how often these free kicks are charged down.

With 11 men on the line there's little chance it wouldn't clip one of them and they probably aren't smart enough to move on time

Try and blast it into the groin/belly of an opposition player not in line with the goal.
