what?

as a fan of a club that has nothing seemingly ever to look forward to again my only possible footballing happiness is going to be derived from big clubs failing....once newcastle are safe there is nothing football related to grab my interest for a very longtime it would seem...........apart hopefully from spuds missing champions league that would raise a smile and the day Bale goes and spuds mates realise the rest of the squad may be a tad hyped up. Liverpool bedding firmly into mediocrity and deluded fans will always be a gift that keeps giving though

Time up Wigan

Seriously pathetic stuff there

I hope their time is up. The arrogance of some of their fans walking away from Ewood after we had been relegated last season was astounding. Add to that some of Whelans recent comments about the Macmanaman challenge and Thatcher and that gives me enough cause to enjoy their impending demise.

want swansea relegated next season..............why try winning this, seriously completely un-called for knobs, welsh knobs

Yep how dare they try? I think they should tank so the team you want relegated goes down.

Which club's supporters would be any different given the same situations? Hell I've even heard many a scouser on the radio defending Suarez and bemoaning his ban last week or two.

Not only that but it's another small North West club biting the dust. BRFC, Bolton, Wigan, Blackpool and Burnley have all played in the Premier League this century and now if Wigan do go down they are all gone...... Lots of history, bags of tradition but the sad fact is that there is little room for such anymore and I'm quite certain nobody will mourn our/their demise. I think as far as the Premier League stands we are just an unwanted distraction to the the main event.

The McManaman challenge would have got a yellow card in Whelan's day, thats probably why he's bemused at the hysterical wailing and blubbing from all the softies that have started following the game since.

Personally I've had a soft spot for Wigan for a while. Small, north-west club that always get stick about their crowds (much like us), generally friendly fans, sound manager, Rovers fan as a chairman, and a great away day. The first 4 reasons make me want them to stay up, but the last is kinda glad they're probably going down.

All this talk about "great escape" set Wigan up as a target. That's what happens when you have a reputation for pulling a rabbit out of your hat. DE called it about 2 weeks ago.

Not for the first time Audax ;)

Yep. 'You'll never play us again' coming from their crowd.

Pie-munching knobs, you reap what you sow!

David Moyes has revealed that he has been asked his opinion on who should replace him at Everton

Seems that Steve Kean is the favourite then???

Or is Moyes just full of sh&t?

You know what, I lost a lot of respect for Moyes after his nonsense in the press about having to leave at half time because of the abuse Kean was getting. I was at the game along with thousands of others and I’ve heard more abuse in Blackburn Cathedral on Sunday morning (No I don’t go to church, but you get my drift)

We all know the LMA is a closed shop full of the old boys brigade, but his support for a manager with a truly appalling record was a disgrace and his comments were calculated and unjust.

Hope he falls flat on his face at Utd and has to experience 70,000 southerners calling for his head, now that will be abuse David!

I reckon United will be lucky to stay in the top 4 next season.

Don't underestimate the loss of a 25 year dictator on a football club.

City with a good new manager and more new players.

Chelsea with Mourinho and more money to spend, and already looking good.

Arsenal may spend a bit finally in the summer and are an improving side already.

Spurs can keep Bale and move forward given the financial backing.

Even Liverpool could move forward if Rodgers can get the right players in, they have been improving all season.

United fans were moaning away at the Durham match at OT on Monday coz of the Chelsea game. They might have some real loaning to do soon.

I can see the Red Rats struggling a bit next season but they'll still be a force, The talk is of Moyes bringing Felliani and Baines in, they'll definitely strengthen their side. Felliani in particular is the sort of player they've been short of all season. Having said that Ferguson was brilliant at keeping all those conflicting ego's in check,I doubt wether Moyes will be as successful in that respect. Also I could see the likes of Bale and Ronaldo signing for Ferguson, I can't say that about Moyes.

United will still finish top 4 next year, but in the long term they may go the way of Liverpool. Fact is they have dominated the top level of the game for an unprecedented amount of time, and it has to come to an end at some point. Their infrastructure will keep them afloat financially long into the future, even with the Glazer family loading them with debt, but they could fall out of the elite bracket relatively quickly.

I've no disdain for Moyes, can't say that about MUFC. We will see, I don't wish any negatives upon DM.

Villa leads CFC, Villa has shook their doldrums off, even if the Latics were able to get a positive result vs. Arsenal,

http://int.soccerway.com/teams/england/aston-villa-football-club/665/

5 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses in their last several matches, impressive. Big turnaround.

Chelsea went on to win and Lamps becomes the top CFC scorer of all time sounds like but could be his last game. Yes, the drama.
