Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 26, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 26, 2013 The same as every other set of fans in the world. Ever. Not when you're seeing it on TV. Live, at the ground, without the help of several replays then maybe.

cn174 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Bloody dull this game. Thankfully I was watching St Pauli on internet at the same time which has just ended with a penalty save and last minute winner
Backroom Tom Posted August 26, 2013 Backroom Posted August 26, 2013 Terrible stuff Maybe we are in for some late drama though
cn174 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Whats the betting they're going to choose Rooney as MOM so that they can ask him about his future and get an exclusive....
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 26, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 26, 2013 100 mins of my life wasted thus far.
Stuart Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 Deep in Moyesy time it looked like his day might be ruined by a late victory but he stuck at it and pulled a 0-0 out of the bag.
Backroom Tom Posted August 26, 2013 Backroom Posted August 26, 2013 Now you can watch an hours worth of analysis where sky try and convince us that we just watched an enthralling tactical battle
arbitro Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Bloody dull this game. Thankfully I was watching St Pauli on internet at the same time which has just ended with a penalty save and last minute winner Best league in the world my arse. Very little quality on show at the Theatre of Dreamers tonight and a very subdued home support. I know a couple of long standing season ticket holders there and they really are unsure about Moyes. I sincerely hope their fears become reality.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 That was an awful game to watch. Thankfully Arsenal vs Spurs is on Sunday and that never disappoints.

Yes, the best teams getting worse would be a cracking way to improve the quality of the league.
The Rover of Finland Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I do apologise. Laziness on my part.No need to apologise. Sami Hyypiä is a legend at Anfield but I bet many Pool fans would write the name wrong. His shirt name was Hyypia. And to Audax, Esa Tikkanen was a great player and did go under skin better than anyone else. Robbie Savage was hated by other teams but Tikkanen made them crazy. Is it just me thinking Premier League match quality is low these days. Most matches are really boring.
Audax Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I think the Premier League may be in a lull but will probably eventually come back the way, Serie A was in a lull but I think it has gotten a little more exciting. On the other hand, the lower tier Premier League clubs more often than not, seem to be competitive. Maybe the deal is is that some Premier League clubs in recent years have just been very good, rather superb. I'd say so without naming names. So, when we aren't entertained to that extent, we think the quality has gone down. Hard to say, a few years ago, when Jose M. was manager of Chelsea, one of those years was absolutely thrilling or it could just be me.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 31, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 31, 2013 How bad are Sunderland?
Sandy84 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 How bad are Sunderland? Di Canio is the first to go, that bad.
Tyke87 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 As much as I liked Di Canio as a player I think he's way out of his depth as Sunderland manager and it's showing already.
Backroom DE. Posted August 31, 2013 Backroom Posted August 31, 2013 Reckon Di Canio could be gone by November. Already allegedly had a bust up at HT with Ji, bad start to the season, squad turnaround in the summer has arguably been too high, doesn't really have the experience or track record to suggest he can turn things around. Good win for Palace though. Jedinak is a player.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 31, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 31, 2013 Definitely. They look awful up front. Properly toothless.
John Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Always thought it was a strange choice to appoint Di Canio plus he seems a bit of a to0l - surely losing his rag on the touchline would get tiresome too, know passion is good but he just seems an idiot.
Tyke87 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I think he's the type of guy who can come in when things are going terribly and inspire a reaction with his passion but long term I can see players, fans and the owners getting sick of it. His stature means nothing to most players in the PL where as at Swindon those players would have seen him as a god.

Tyke87 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Quite similar to Roy Keane in many respects. Thats a good comparison and I think like Keane he's massively over rated because of his playing days and will in the end suffer because of his own ego.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 31, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 31, 2013 Where's Glenn Murray?Injured at the minute.
Josh Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Injured at the minute. Ah right, cheers. I knew he was injured at the end of last season but I presumed he would have recovered
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 31, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 31, 2013 Ah right, cheers. I knew he was injured at the end of last season but I presumed he would have recoveredNo worries. I think it was a bad one, as he was on crutches at Wembley for the play-off final.
