Amo Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I bet Cristiano won't be happy at 'only' being the 2nd most expensive player now.Expect a cat-fight in the dressing room.

Stuart Posted September 2, 2013 Author Posted September 2, 2013 I bet Cristiano won't be happy at 'only' being the 2nd most expensive player now. Expect a cat-fight in the dressing room. He'll probably claim that, taking into account inflation, he is still the number 1...
Guest Norbert Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I can just see Ronaldo throwing his make-up bag at Bale this season, and sulking during his next spray tan.
Audax Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 That would be exciting to see Ozil playing, I read Arsenal needs to strengthen defence, etc. It's interesting, Ozil was not selected for Real's last game... I forget why but looks like he will be a Gunner.
Paul Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 A game gone mad fuelled by and only in existence because of Sky. When it comes the collapse will be both spectacular and catastrophic.
cn174 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Özil is one of my favourite players so I'm looking forward to him being in the PL. Other than that, what a crock of crap the transfer window is. It's almost scripted by sky nowadays. My favourite bit was when they went over to Sky Deutschland. The presenter (him before Jim White) yelled at him "SO WHAT NEWS CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE GERMAN TRANSFER WINDOW?" and the fella just replied, "well the german transfer window is already closed and not many transfers have happened today". Ha.
dave birch Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 A game gone mad fuelled by and only in existence because of Sky. When it comes the collapse will be both spectacular and catastrophic. That sums up my feelings. I refuse to have any dealings with any Murdoch company. He's not in the game for the good of the game, just for what he can get out of it. Changes colour to suit his agenda and pocket. The world will be a better place when he's gone....
Backroom Tom Posted September 14, 2013 Backroom Posted September 14, 2013 Ashley Young diving again just send them off
Salgado Is A Hero Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Hull winning. I want them to do well so they don't ask for Cairney back.
speeeeeeedie Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Ashley Young diving again just send them off Agree. It wasn't a pen, nor a sending off. In other games; Ozil looked very good. Spurs win again. Everton beat Chelsea. The 2nd half was a very good game to watch. I like Ross Barclay.

Josh Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 How many different pronunciations is John Motson going to create for Sigurdsson's name in one match? starting to wind me up
The Rover of Finland Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Southampton and West Ham just offered a very poor PL match. The league isn´t what it used to be.
Backroom DE. Posted September 15, 2013 Backroom Posted September 15, 2013 I can't stand Ashley Young Neither can United fans, funnily enough. He's almost universally hated
adopted scouser Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Liverpool 1-1 inside three minutes
Backroom Tom Posted September 16, 2013 Backroom Posted September 16, 2013 2-1 Liverpool they are enjoying a really good start to the season and may be in contention for the champions league places come May
adopted scouser Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 2-1 Liverpool they are enjoying a really good start to the season and may be in contention for the champions league places come May The top clubs are all over the place so far, Liverpool under Brendan could make a good start
Salgado Is A Hero Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I don't particularly like Rodgers but he's made some really good signings. 2-2 now, Shelvey with three assists and a goal.
roversfan99 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Aspas is crap and Sakho was very dodgy.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 "Some" One game as well for Sakho. I wasn't talking about just this transfer window either.
roversfan99 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Moses is a decent loan signing, they have spent alot on 2 centre backs who in my opinion will struggle to get into the team, Sakho and Agger both like to play as a left sided centre back. Aspas looks poor, Alberto seems a bit pointless, I think they needed another holding midfielder, Borini was a waste of money, Allen was overpriced, Coutinho and Sturridge were excellent buys, Toure is a shrewd move and Mignolet is a decent keeper, I would say mixed.
neekoy Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 They have had a good start but they lack depth when compared to their fellow top four aspirants. I still see them finishing outside the Top 4 with Chelsea, Man City yet to hit their straps Man Utd always being around and Tottenham and Le Arse having advantages on the park
thenodrog Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Very good start for Lpool. Sturridge has stepped up to the plate remarkeably well. Now any budding managers out there care to suggest what will happen when Suarez's ban is over?

Sturridge, Coutinho and Mignolet were excellent signings imo, plus they didn't overpay. Sakho has masses of potential and has proved his quality in the Champions League, I think that will turn out to be a really good signing. There's loads of CB partnerships where they both like to play on the same side. It just looks weird to see two left footers. Aspas looked good against Stoke and it's still early days anyway, Borini looked good for Swansea and the Italy under 21s, I wouldn't write him off just yet. Allen was a poor signing for sure, and they needed more depth which is where Alberto and Toure come in. I'm not saying he's done great business but it's really good imo, especially considering the players who the previous two managers bought. Very good start for Lpool. Sturridge has stepped up to the plate remarkeably well. Now any budding managers out there care to suggest what will happen when Suarez's ban is over? A Liverpool fan I work with says he'll play on the left. With maybe Moses on the other side, Coutinho in the hole ahead of Gerrard and Lucas or whoever in the middle.
