Okay my thoughts, many on here are calling Shebby out because of his last two interviews, I think Mrs D and the boys had a quite word after the KGH meeting in terms of tone it down, which in his last two interviews he has been very cautious in his reply's, so after his initial outbursts and thoughts since his arrival which fans wanted to hear, fans are now looking at the negatives because he has changed tact, in any managerial situation when you are seen to be in a corner you change the way you work and communicate to get back to your original position within the hierarchy, this is what i think Shebby is doing.

Kean is so inept he will cock up anyway in the next few weeks, we can all see that from the first two games, I will believe for now Kean has set points targets to achieve, if he doesn't then that's when we will see what Shebby can or cannot do, and that in my opinion is when he can be judged fairly.

Not quite correct, EP.

If you are in a corner and are seen to be backtracking on previous comments, the best way out is to admit that you were wrong and to start over again, rather than to try and weasle your way out.

Shebby is not and never will be a football administrator. He should admit that and move out and let someone with proper credentials move in.

What other aspect of his "job" makes his role "Global".

Sorry, his appointment is(was) nothing but spin.

A second rate appontment made to try to appease the complaining masses. There would be many hundreds of people more qualified than this bloke to run the Rovers.

Shebby, realise that you have been promoted beyond your capabilities and get the hell out before you're found out.

Spot on Dave, just a distraction tactic that seemed to be working until Singh let his mouth run away with him in true amateur style, back to ESPN for him I'd imagine.

You pay peanuts you get monkeys, simple as that.

I think you have summed up our situation very nicely there Gav, all in one simple sentence.

Singh is just another bellend in a long line of bellends that the tossers over in India have employed to 'run' the club.

So, to summarise , a moronic radio station with the interrogative skills of a cabbage interviewed an Asian village idiot who for whatever reason has backtracked on everything he said at that meeting with the fans.

And the host, a fat alcoholic jock, chips in with demands that the callers don't mention Kean's undeserved employment.

What are the credentials for a Global Advisor at a football club?

Why do Rovers need a global advisor? Shebby Singh has been put forward as someone who will talk to fans and give us and the media the impression that things are changing and that they care about what we have to say. Singh isn't going to do anything. The owners wouldn't listen to him even if he did have something to say. It's all just for show. Nothing has changed.

The problem is that all the monkeys employed by the club from top to bottom are being paid in solid gold peanuts.

Couldn't have described it better myself.

Aggy, define the term "Global Advisor" in the context of Blackburn Rovers Football Club, and I might be able to close to answering you.

I'll make it a bit easier by saying I can't possibly see any need for such an advisor unless we were in need of the next superstar coming from any of three or four continents.

Looking at it objectively, Shebby is there for local reasons.

TBH taking Shebby at his word regarding sacking Kean has now proved to be YET ANOTHER case of us fans getting our hopes up for no reason. Until Kean walks out of the door at Ewood-

(hopefully with no bodyguard so some beefcake blue can get stuck in) then we've no reason to believe he will.

I still believe there is a piece missing in all this.

Shebby obviously doesn't get along with Kean, Agnew etc

So why would the owners decide one week to keep Kean there and promote Agnew then a week later bring in someone who is anti-Kean?

If you look at it asbeing under joint ownership, with one side insisting on Kean/Agnew stay running club and the other side wanting 'their man' on the inside to balance things out, it makes a lot more sense.

That is a fair point and my understanding is Shebby is most definately a Balaji man, we shall see OJ, you may have quite a good analysis there!

Good post OJ and makes a lot of sense.

What has puzzled me is the movement of banking to India when all we heard when the "owners" first arrived on the scene was that it was difficult / long process moving money out of India, but seems to have been very easy flowing recently.
