magicalmortensleftpeg Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Robinson Ribeiro Dann Givet Olsson Formica Etuhu Murphy Olsson Rhodes Gomes or Robinson Ribeiro Dann Givet Olsson Etuhu Murphy Vukcevic Rochina Olsson Rhodes - Big game. We have enough attacking talent to win. I'd like to see Rhodes and Gomes up top together but I doubt we'd get much service to them. Be interesting to see the line up considering how many options we have. Keeping Martin Olsson is a big big plus.

dubdubdub Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Why is Ribeiro suddenly the new Rochina? He's only played one and a half games. And he's not quick. Granted he looks alright. Doubt Martin Olsson will play today but would be cracking if he did.
Kelbo Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Why is Ribeiro suddenly the new Rochina? He's only played one and a half games. And he's not quick. Granted he looks alright. Doubt Martin Olsson will play today but would be cracking if he did. His ball retention is better than Lowe and he can deliver a decent ball into the box, Beckham wasnt quick but they didnt stop his delivery to the strikers, Ribiero is not a new Rochina or anything else, just feel tactically, Orr at full back would give us more, unless of course Orr has had a spat with Kean Surely not another player to fall out with the numpty, they soon find him out dont they?
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Bloody hell Murphy, Etuhu, Peds, Dunn - we'll be overun with pace in midfield, there has to be some pace somewhere, whats wrong with Martin Olsson? surely not another player Keans fallen out with and what about Orr, play him at full back and push Ribiero forward to right midfield, we then have a bit of pace and width with Lowe available late on when some of the older players legs have gone!! It's not the side I would put out but the side I think Kean will. Agree with your comments about the players. On Martin Olsson whilst there are transfer windows still open (the turkish and french ones) I don't think he will play.
J*B Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Orr over Ribeiro, really? Yep. For me, Bruno signalises everything thats wrong with the club. Dodgy player, signed by a dodgy manager through a dodgy agent. Just because Brunos had a few games doesnt mean ill forgive and forget. For every Bruno theres a Myles. That and we have proper quality international wingers in our squad, so I dont see why a right back is played over them.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 My guess at the lineup: Robinson Ribeiro Dann Givet Marcus.Olsson Lowe Etuhu Murphy Pedersen Dunn Rhodes I think this will be the team but with Nunes instead of Dunn Which ever way we jig the players around a lack of pace is killing us. Sooner we can get a fit Martin Olssen and CKR back the better. Put them on the left and right wing with JR and Gomes up front simple 4-4-2. Edit: 2-1 Leeds Strike 2 for Kean
Dunnfc Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 CKR Fit. If olsson is: Robbo Ribeiro Dann Givet Martin O Etuhu CKR Murphy Marcus O MGP Rhodes Subs - Formica Henley, Kean, Rochina, Orr, Nunes, Gomes 2-1 Going to be gritty a penalty to us awarded because that clogger Rudolph Austin gives it away.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Normal service will be resumed. The usual clueless , lacklustre performance will see a very average Leeds just pip us. You'll be able to count the number of meaningful passes Rhodes gets on one hand.
LeChuck Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Reason we haven't sold more is simple - £36 tickets. Yep. We had a group of 4 ready to go until we saw that price.
Sverre Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 is kazim richards fit for this match? Thought the official site reported him as still injured(although very close to being fit)
Hekla Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I hope he is fit to play, we could do with him. Even if he only makes the bench, 20-30 minutes would be good.
callumrovers Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Come on Rovers! 3 points today! Can't wait to see Rhodes play
booth Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Anywhere I can follow the match besides the poor text commentary on BBC Sport/Soccer Saturday?

Fair answer, only thing I'd argue with is that Orr is Kean's number one brown-noser so wouldn't he epitomize what's wrong with the club more than Bruno?, remember he allegedly said he wouldn't p!ss on the fans if they were on fire. Don't know enough about Ribeiro's character to know what he's actually like.
Fraserkirky Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Anywhere I can follow the match besides the poor text commentary on BBC Sport/Soccer Saturday? It is awful on both those. I liked it when we go could on the main rovers page and view txt coverage
booth Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 It is awful on both those. I liked it when we go could on the main rovers page and view txt coverage Is it on Radio Lancashire do you know?
chaddyrovers Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 yeah on Radio Lancs on 95.5fm. im listening to it now
1864roverite Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Just back from Spain, can see the LUFC mob turning us over courtesy of ehd.
Nelsta Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 rovers team. robinson, riberio, dann, givet, markus olsson, murphy, etuhu, pedersen, formica, gomes, rhodes.
chaddyrovers Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 rovers team is Robinson; Bruno, Dann, Givet, Marcus Olsson; Formica, Murphy, Etuhu, Pedersen, Rhodes, Gomes subs:- Kean, Orr, Lowe, Edhino, Rochina, Hanley, Jorge
Hekla Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 No real pace in that team except for Olsson, bit worrying but still a strong team. Lots and lots of experienced players there.
hesfromburn Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Formica on the wings = poor do. I thought Martin Olsson was going to be in the squad? KEAN SAID SO!!! KEAN SAID SO!!!
