Kamy reporting on twitter that it raised a few eyebrows and if the deals are linked to the same agency, there could be trouble ahead with the footballing authorities....

I dont believe there are any wrong doings. The explanation is the simple one - Steve Kean REALLY does think he has an untapped market and believes the fact he is fluent in Portugese will help him prove to be a manager and get the best out of these players that from the outside look to be very poor quality.

To me this proves he clearly has a lot of power still over Venkys, they are clearly letting him buy who he wants, sacking the scouts at the club and letting Kean use agents and contacts he knows in Portugal to bring in a silly amount of unknown portugese players into the club and just hoping out of hope that one or two of them come good.

It is just the next chapter in Venkys book of how not to run a football club.

So many of the main producers, pundits and presenters, of the main EPL sponsors news programmes, are represented by the same money grabbing morons who represent a few choice managers and players. Hence why the questions and answers are pre-determined and the issues effecting any member of this hierarchy are always skirted.

Come to think of it, I think there was a certain interview, with a certain agent, on a certain news channel about a certain clubs fans...

This is a great find, so a Venkys spokesman was the manager who signed Kean for Academica back in 1988.

I think that certainly shows that Kean is heavily involved in the signing of these Portugese players, where Kean is involved surely the dark knight Jerome or associated agent friends can't be far behind.

Anyone else noticed how new posters have popped up on the LT website praising Kean, Venky's and our signings in a very obvious manner. I present to you a post from DanVan87:

Now I'm sorry but how would this random chap know about the market being untapped or about the quality of this latest signing? No one has seen this player yet. Lots of fishy activity around this club. Also considering these portuguese players don't come up on an FM search with a large database it leaves me thinking they won't be anything too good. Especially considering the creators of football manager have huge and thorough scouting networks. Untapped my backside.

Obviously - if Calisto is represented by a certain agent who was asked to sell the club... who also represented the manager. Surely we are talking conflicts of interest.

Some updates. Henrique Calisto left the Vietnam Job 3/2/11 - and is currently unemployed after coaching FC Pacos de Ferreira in the Portugese Superliga between 1/12/2011 and 27/5/2012

The event was opened by Kuldeep Singh, Acting Consul, Consulate General of India in Vietnam. Henrique Calisto, Head Coach of the Vietnamese National Football Team, was guest of honour and event ambassador.

I refereed Edinho Senior a couple of times and in one of the games he conned me and deliberately 'scored' a goal with his hand. The game was live on Sky and I actually saw a replay of the incident at half time in the changing room. I challenged him about it just before we started the second half and he denied it, not knowing that I had seen it.
