david_daft Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Good preview. Is this being televised anywhere in the world? Don't think so, the only League Cup games I can see being televised anywhere in the world are Forest v Wigan and Cov v Brum.
cn174 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Good preview. Is this being televised anywhere in the world? doubt it, but full commentry is on radio rovers
roverandout Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 im hoping rovers get tonked and listening to kean's excuses afterwards
Tango Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Decided to go at the last minute. Not sure if it's such a good idea... will reserve judgement for the team sheet!!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Franchise FC against the worst run club in Britain. Jesus, football really has sunk to new lows.
RoverScot Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Kean, Orr, Olsson Marcus, Dann, Hanley, Nunes, Jorge, Etuhu, Vukcevic, Rochina, Edinho Subs: Usai, Formica, Lowe, Martin Olsson, Goodwillie, Morris, Bruno.
neophox Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Kean, Orr, Marcus Olsson, Dann, Hanley, Nunes, Jorge, Etuhu, Vukcevic, Rochina, Edinho. Subs: Goodwillie, Usai, Formica, Lowe, Morris, Martin Olsson, Bruno, Nice to see Vukcevic and Rochina start! Also nice to see Martin Olsson involved on the bench. Maybe a return on saturday if not sold?
hesfromburn Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 quite a strong team, the complete unknown ability of edinho and jorge could damage us, and the awfulness of Scott Dann means we will definatly let a goal in or two.

LeChuck Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Would rather Goodwillie started for match fitness, otherwise not a bad team. Should go through.
G Somerset Rover Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 So quite obviously Vukcevic's appearance fees don't cover the Carling Cup...
bazza Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 So quite obviously Vukcevic's appearance fees don't cover the Carling Cup... Didn't Shebby say that thing about appearance fees was untrue? And don't we believe Shebby?
Dunnfc Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 The official line is, Vuckevic is just not fancied by Steve Kean. Not rated as a player... Hope he has a scremer of a game tonight.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 The official line is, Vuckevic is just not fancied by Steve Kean. Not rated as a player... Hope he has a scremer of a game tonight. I hope so to - from the limited we have seen of him he is a far better option on the right wing than Lowe. Having said that - I think Lowe is being played right wing in a vain effort to improve the defensive side of our game.
G Somerset Rover Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Didn't Shebby say that thing about appearance fees was untrue? And don't we believe Shebby? No, we don't. Vukcevic is obviously more talented then 99.99% of our squad and has not even been given a chance. Risky by Kean playing him tonight cos if he has a great game then the fans will keep on his back.
donnermeat Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I can't believe my eyes, I see Simon's name on the teamsheet. Do you think he doesn't favour him because he is allegedly a Hunt/Vineeth signing? Another one of his rat like excuses to take to the witch of Pune?
Backroom Tom Posted August 28, 2012 Backroom Posted August 28, 2012 The official line is, Vuckevic is just not fancied by Steve Kean. Not rated as a player... Hope he has a scremer of a game tonight. Wouldn't make a difference though he was easily the best player on the pitch in his debut in this cup last year then when he played in the league got an assist and a goal and then disappeared There is no logic at all in not playing goodwillie not that we should expect any!
Hekla Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 quite a strong team, the complete unknown ability of edinho and jorge could damage us, and the awfulness of Scott Dann means we will definatly let a goal in or two. Isn't that the whole point in a cup match? Got to give these guys a chance against lower opposition. Great to see Vukcevic and Rochina starting. Overall it looks like a strong team.

Great to see Vukcevic and Rochina starting. Overall it looks like a strong team. Yes but we dont even know if these random portugese players can even play football. Keans records with signings is awful.
A cup of beans Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 tryin g to renew my roversplayer and its asking me to sign in with a different email address. FFS! amateurs!
arbitro Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Tony Cottee has just reported we are playing on the break against MK Dons - way to go Keano.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 We've had the best chance of the game cleared off the line apparently.....a Nunes cut-back to Edinho......and apparently we look dangerous on the counter attack....according to Gillette Soccer Special.
