[Archived] Strauss set to quit as captain

Andrew Strauss looks set to quit as test captain. I think he should of waited on the outcome of the India tour in the winter,but he's obviously had enough. Cook to step up to captain for me. Who wil be promoted to vice captain? My money's on Bell!

Only way to get Pietersen back in the fold without underminding the captain?

He's done a great job but the runs have started to dry up again.

Disappointing - although results havent been great Strauss has come through the KP issue with his head held high and it would have been good to see him go to India and try to turn things around. If he goes he will do so as one of England's best ever captains.

Cook is the obvious choice next - could go either way.

I can't see a way back for Pieterson now. He'd probably get lynched by the players! Shame though cos we've just lost our best player and our double ashes winning captain. Also Smith has seen off 3 England captains. He's a cricketing terminator lol!
