T4E Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Fair play to Chelsea, made the best of a difficult looking season. You can't knock Rafa in Europe, he knows what he's doing.
Backroom Tom Posted May 15, 2013 Backroom Posted May 15, 2013 Get in there Chelsea Really glad they won
adopted scouser Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Luiz is a cock but the Portuguese were cheating, Cardoza with his fake cramp and legs in the air. I always support British 'based' teams and the sight of Benfica players and fans in tears is hilarious. Lampard's rocket would have been a great winner and well done Rafa
Stuart Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Rafa to Rovers!I don't think we'll get him now. He'll probably be offered another job now.Shame. I thought he was a shoe in as DoF working for Singh.
Backroom Tom Posted May 15, 2013 Backroom Posted May 15, 2013 John Terry does it again The ultimate full kit Keaner

Stuart Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Seeing the po-faced looks on the 'dignitaries' of UEFA makes me a little glad that Chelsea have done it. I bet they are gutted.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Can't stand Platini, but then again he's French....

Lampard's rocket would have been a great winner and well done Rafa I'm not sure you are aware but Fernando Torres and Azpilicueta are not portuguese, they are spanish. You can also try to explain why Cardozo was faking cramps... Benfica were not winning, in case you hadn't noticed. Benfica were better for most of the time but missed to score, specially in the first half. Garay's injury (maybe another fake injury, after all he doesn't play in England, where no one ever fakes anything) was devastating for Benfica's defense. The ref forgot a few yellow cards but was ok overall.

I know you are from Portugal mate and wasn't having a go bit the cramp thing was to get them to extra time (just my opinion). What I loathe from both sides and other players in the premier league is consistent feigning injury, rolling around the floor following 'contact'. I really should watch Rugby but football is in your blood !

I thought you were the better team, particularly in the first half, just that maybe you were guilty of trying to walk the ball into the net. This article is pretty interesting. http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2011/09/14/2664953/not-in-100-years-from-now-will-benfica-win-a-european-cup http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=9Fd9MDYLS1Y
roverandout Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 remember meeting some Chelsea fans in Manchester before the fa cup semi final against rovers outside the ground, always came across as 'all right geezers', had a chat with some of them, rovers fans were the only ones fighting after the game against each other.
Aberdeen Blue Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 John Terry is official king of the full kit w'anchors!

Guest Norbert Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 John Terry is official king of the full kit w'anchors! Did he pull the same trick again?
Salgado Is A Hero Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Yea. It was well funny. Hazard and Ba in suits, Mikel in tracksuit bottoms but Terry in the whole outfit. Someone said he was wearing shinpads as well but they're probably joking. Also apparently he was wearing a suit in the first half. The guy has no shame. He cost them the first European final, then in the next two, they've won without him.
Guest Norbert Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 He's a right tw_t really, but then you look at his parents-a drug dealer and a shop lifter.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Here's a list of his scandals - Fined two weeks wages for drunkenly mocking American tourists in Heathrow Airport in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Charged with assault and affray after a confrontation with a nightclub bouncer in January 2002, Terry was suspended from England duty and subsequently missed out on the 2002 World Cup. He was later cleared of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, unlawful wounding, possessing a bottle as an offensive weapon and affray. In February 2002 Terry was caught on CCTV urinating into a beer glass and dropping it on the floor of an Essex nightclub. Fined £60 for parking his Bentley in a disabled bay. In 2004, Terry was reported to have gambled up to £40,000 a week on horse and dog racing with Wayne Bridge and Scott Parker. Sent off against Tottenham in November 2006 at White Hart Lane, and accused of racially abusing Ledley King. Questioned the integrity of referee Graham Poll, and was later fined £10,000 for inappropriate conduct. Before marrying Toni Poole in 2007, admitted to cheating on his partner up to eight times. Jenny Barker, 17, claims that Terry cheated on Poole with her in a public car park. Investigated by Chelsea and the FA for reportedly accepting a £10,000 bribe to show a reporter around the London club’s training ground without permission in 2009. In 2009 the centre back’s father Ted Terry was filmed allegedly selling cocaine to an undercover reporter, months after his mother, Sue, and mother-in-law had been cautioned for shoplifting. In January 2010 Terry was alleged to have had a four-month affair with Wayne Bridge’s girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel. Bridge was deemed as one of Terry’s best friends, and Perroncel was the mother of the left back’s child. Fabio Capello stripped Terry of the England captaincy due to the scandal, handing it to Rio Ferdinand. Accused of racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand in a 1-0 defeat for Chelsea at Loftus Road in October 2011. Investigated by the FA and police, Terry will stand trial in July 2012. Stripped of his country’s captaincy for the second time.
Guest Norbert Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 And let's be honest, when he starts on the referee, he has one of those faces you want to hit.
Backroom Mike E Posted May 16, 2013 Backroom Posted May 16, 2013 And let's be honest, when he starts on the referee, he has one of those faces you want to hit regardless. Fixed
