Mercer Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Paul Jewell is going to ruin all the next manager sacked bets I think you are right - Jewell will be gone tonight. Not sure Kean will be gone today.

T.J.Newton Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be my Ideal long term manager, heres a very good article about his managerial career so far- http://www.dailymail...ie-fjords-.html , also apparently he held talks with villa but it didn't go anywhere because his bosses at Molde where not happy he didn't get there permission to start talks first(or somat), he was also linked with the wolves job. Although im not expecting Kean(The Useless Liar) to be leaving any-time soon(but obviously would love to be proved wrong).
Tugay-is-God Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I think you are right - Jewell will be gone tonight. Not sure Kean will be gone today. I hope you're wrong, I'm on to win £1600 if Kean's the next to leave.
Mercer Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I hope you're wrong, I'm on to win £1600 if Kean's the next to leave. So do I - there are a few of us with decent bets riding on this !
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I hope they sack him quick, can't wait to get back to Ewood. Missing football!
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Well then you ###### idiot. why don't you go and look how it works before saying i'm wrong. anyone that used paddypower will know you get receipt before not after so sh.
Glenn Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Guys, quite with the personal feud please. 99% of us simply don't give a stuff.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Well frankly this guy pops up in every thread, bloody boring. Not my fault he's poor.
MGAndy Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 How about Mike Newell as next manager.... maybe with Shearer as assistant ?
Sparky Marky Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Well frankly this guy pops up in every thread, bloody boring. Not my fault he's poor. Ahhh
bringdunnback Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 @CryerRovers An interesting day, nothing to report at the moment.... Just been tweeted by Andy Cryer, hinting that something could happen? Or clutching at straws? AHH THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME.. EDIT -When asked to stop teasing by someone, he replies not teasing, just stating 'at the moment'. But that cd change
rovers11 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Could be an interesting few days. The points target has not been met and Shebby will no doubt have picked up the phone to Venky's and reminded them of that. I wouldn't expect anything to be announced before monday even if he has been sacked. Kean is sackable now though, no doubt about that.

But that cd change I think Cryer knows that things are happening and he's waiting for someone to light the blue touch paper. He's pretty easy 'to read' with his Twitter comments. Here we go: Andrew Cryer@CryerRovers I will qualify my tweet. Interesting in that I've spoken to a lot of people re rovers and it is clear uncertainty around everywhere!
Doug Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Cryer must love this. Chucks the proverbial grenade in and leaves. We are left to wind ourselves up like a corkscrew. Another weekend of frustration me thinks.

I hope if they get rid of Kean they appoint a good caretaker manager, whilst searching for a potential replacement. I could give them a potato if need be as a better/more suitable temporary replacement. I'm sure we would see immediate improvements.

Tony Parkes was at the driving range this afternoon and looked fit and well and sounded able !
John Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Eric Black would be a fine caretaker IMO, until someone permanent comes in.
Mullionvagrant Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Tony Parkes was at the driving range this afternoon and looked fit and well and sounded able ! I'd love Tony to have the role. Do things the Proper Rovers way with a true caretaker. Something tells me he wouldn't accept the role from Venky's though!
rovers11 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Cryer seems to have heard that kean has or is going to be sacked but is not confident enough to run with it yet. He wants to be the first to break the story but doesn't want egg on his face.
perthblue02 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Tbh I'd be happy with Black or Parkes as short term caretaker, I really hope that Kean is not the only one shown the door and his security and pr team get the push as well
adsfortheblues Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Black? NO WAY, he's doesn't have the balls to tell Kean now that things need to change. What makes anyone think it will be different if kean ever goes?

What makes anyone think it will be different if kean ever goes? I listened to a radio interview of Black the other day (internet link-can't recall with who) and he was very careful not to praise Kean and hinted at 'politics' of the club-i thought he came across like he had integrity!

What makes anyone think it will be different if kean ever goes? Black is often seen advising Kean , Kean just sits or stands there with a blank expression on his face not taking a blind bit of notice. As said earlier as short term caretaker wouldn't bother me in the slightest
miqaayil Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 here's me as always hoping for rijkaard and tugay as assistant
