SouthAussieRover Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Not home and dry yet, just talked to contact in Pune and "team Kean" are trying to get him 2 more games. But source says it is unlikely that Mrs D will change her mind this time. Youre contact seems to be failing you and Glenn P again Not home and dry yet, just talked to contact in Pune and "team Kean" are trying to get him 2 more games. Al Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Well would assume with him and the players arriving at the same time with very few others there that he ways. Pardon?

T4E Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Cryer says he still thinks he will be gone. I thought Mrs D was 'Team Kean'. If she isnt then who are you referring to Kamy? Agnew surely?
dwayne cage Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 If he's there training the players he's not getting the chop. If I was getting fired and my boss said come in to work today though I'd be like "Get lost!"
thenodrog Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 At least he's not in Pune. Have not got a clue which way this will go. His missus might be though. Cryer says he still thinks he will be gone. Agnew surely? As in 'Paul who'? I doubt he has enough influence with Mrs D to save himself never mind his bum chum.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Pardon? If he and the players have arrived at the same time with few others there I don't see why he wouldn't be training them. & if he does he is almost certainly not getting sacked, would not be training them if he was about to go.
T4E Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 His missus might be though. As in 'Paul who'? I doubt he has enough influence with Mrs D to save himself never mind his bum chum. He managed to get the job in the first place.
HemelRover Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Pardon? (Re Kean taking training) Well would assume with him(Kean) and the players arriving at the same time with very few others(other people to take the training) there(Brockhall) that he(Kean) ways(WAS...ie taking training).
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (Re Kean taking training) Well would assume with him(Kean) and the players arriving at the same time with very few others(other people to take the training) there(Brockhall) that he(Kean) ways(WAS...ie taking training). Sums it up. If he takes training in my eyes he's almost 90% staying.
Pete1981 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 sportingintelligence @sportingintel For #rovers fans asking, Steve Kean is at Brockhall, overseeing training 'as normal'. I wouldn't believe any 'axe' decision until it happens
vwcr Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 This is crazy... starting to loose all hope.
Devon Rover Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 sportingintelligence @sportingintel For #rovers fans asking, Steve Kean is at Brockhall, overseeing training 'as normal'. I wouldn't believe any 'axe' decision until it happens If thats correct (and it probably is) then we've been mis-led again. Furious.
booth Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 If he's there training the players he's not getting the chop. If I was getting fired and my boss said come in to work today though I'd be like "Get lost!" Perhaps he's trying to force a mutiny, David Brent style.
SouthAussieRover Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Close the thread. The ###### going nowhere.
andymcg06 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Lets face it people the licklyhood of him getting sacked is getting slimmer and slimmer by the minute, how many times have we been here before ? The pr!ck is unsackable !
True Blue & White Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 He'll probably come out with a pay rise. All this "Kean set to be sacked stuff" reminds me of the boy who cried wolf, I'm sure it will happen eventually but up til then I take these stories with a pinch of salt.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Safe to say i'm done. Refuse to back Kean in any form. Did think he wouldn't be going but fact he's taking training pretty much confirms it for me, those are not the actions of a man being sacked.
Gav Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 They're obviously still confused.... "Get the idiot sacked, the Burnley game is coming and I can't go if that prat stays"!!
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 The talk in the LT article this morning was about Black being the caretaker manager. If the plan was to sack Kean and keep Black in charge for at least one game surely he would be the one taking control of the training? My gut is telling me that the LT, other papers and those supposedly in the know have jumped the gun. There may be some discussions in the background about looking at alternative managers, but we are still at the stage where they are discussing whether to get rid of him or not. So no imminent sacking unlike people were saying this morning.
davulsukur Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Well done to Venkys tho. They've probably just shaved another 1000 off the next home game attendence
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Think if he doesn't go we can assume all the ITK were just jumping on the bandwagon again.
den Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 sportingintelligence @sportingintel Clearly there is a mood even within Venky's that Kean should go. But we've been here before, multiple times. Mrs D - and only her - decides.
