deftangel Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 3/1 betvictor. I got him at 9/2 earlier, think Jewell is close to going too. Not enough to move to move the market mind so money's going in.

davulsukur Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Harry Redknapp and Tim Sherwood in please as Rovers new management team A superb replacement but I really can't see Arry coming here. He will have his pick of prem jobs when the axes start falling. My worry is that Cryer thinks Eric Black will be given a chance to make the job his own. 2 wins would probably land him the job and then the wheels start coming off we are back where we were only chanting Black Out instead (would need some amending or we will be racist!) If Glen or anyone has any contact with Shebby you need to be having a word in his shell to get an experienced manager in.
Rob of the Rovers Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I was holding on to the view that Kean was genuinely unsackable due to one of the many conspiracy theories that we have all heard.... The fact that he kept his job for so long because our owners are THAT stupid terrifies me a bit! Anyway, whinging about Venkys is for another day...time for the Keanout Party!!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Would love Redknapp here, really would!

Cryer mention that Sherwood might be coming in on the coaching staff why I mention Redknapp. But I see Sherwood coming in as number 2 to the next manager tho
dr who true blue Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 please don't let this be a pish take.if it is true then lee clarke for me.
deftangel Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Redknapp likes the South Coast where he lives a lot. I can't see him going anywhere too far from there or London. Even Ipswich is a stretch.
barry_ Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Been sitting on this since yesterday evening, but now that LT has broken the story. Kean SHOULD be sacked tomorrow, senior venky's have told us that the decision to sack Kean has been made, I don't think that Kean will get Mrs D to change her mind this time. KEAN IN!!!
modes98 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 please don't let this be a pish take.if it is true then lee clarke for me. Lee Clark is doing well at Brum....I've never seen them look as bad as they did Saturday and they weren't good against Coventry or Watford. Grayson would be a better shout than Clark for me. I got him at 9/2 earlier, think Jewell is close to going too. Not enough to move to move the market mind so money's going in. Ditto Edit: Barry you're banned
Kelbo Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I really do think, if this happens, we owe adebt of gratitude to Shebby Singh, he has told it like it is to Venkys and they have backed him with money for Rhodes etc and now appear to backing his judgement again, if this happens, we should in all honesty, get behind the guy, the team and whoever is managing, be it caretaker or other!!
sjsbrfc Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 How the hell am I going to sleep tonight now. It's like Xmas Eve as a kid....
Mercer Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 http://www.betvictor...07099/347481400 If anybody is confident then put thousands on at 3/1 Too late, book closed !
chaddyrovers Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Mercerman, who will be Kean replacement as manager???
andymcg06 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 How the hell am I going to sleep tonight now. It's like Xmas Eve as a kid.... Your not the only one ! I'm trying my best not to get over exited but if this happens ill defiantly be getting the jelly and ice cream out !

Grayson would be a better shout than Clark for me. Ditto Edit: Barry you're banned If you want a conspiracy theory, I bumped into Grayson on Sainsbury's car park in Clitheroe on Friday evening. Haven't a feckin clue what he was doing there and I honestly don't think he had !
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 You manage to get anything on? Didn't get much, put all account balance at 3/1. Then market now closed it seems

Completely agree with you. Also, isn't Shebby good pals with Redknapp? I thought that's where the links were coming from, for Redknapp. Gutted I have to go to bed soon, early start tomorrow! Will open the champagne when I get home

Backroom DE. Posted September 23, 2012 Backroom Posted September 23, 2012 It's now on the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19696740
sambo Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 What's everyone's tipple of choice tomorrow should he be potted? Can't decide whether to go for some old fashioned beers, or go for champagne to mark the occasion!
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Got the beers ready! Tomorrow could be a day of a new beginning. Hopefully they can learn and make the right replacement. All going to plan tomorrow of course.
RoverScot Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 It's now on the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19696740 It says in this that "He could yet be offered another role at the club but if he exits Ewood Park, assistant Eric Black is expected to be offered the job of caretaker boss. Please not this again. Was he even a good groundsman at Reading? Would not trust him with the Ewood Park surface.
