broadsword Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 With all due respect, no announcement has been made yet. If you choose not to sack someone, there's no announcement to be made

JAL Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 You have to be cruel to be kind....boycott every game...or is the attendance worry from pune a load of horse sh...it too? We've been had.
PAFELL Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I think you will find there are some people who can not own or part own a football club, legally anyway Then expose them. If it is illegal, then there are ways of getting legal protection for self if needed. If it is illegal then no action would be brought against anybody who exposed it.
1864roverite Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I am thinking some serious MISINFORMATION has been placed out in order to smoke out a rat in the house. If the club were backing KEANSCUM they would have dispelled any rumours immediately, they have done so in the past. It is interesting KEANSCUM hasnt been in the media spotlight since Friday. I still hope beyond hope that he gets the sack tomorrow. KEANSCUM OUT
Veevs Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Graham Jones@GrahamJones_MP Reliable source says Kean sacked last night. Refused to go. Bizarely came in & took training today. Confusion all round. Who the hell is left in the UK bar shebby to actually sack the sod.. pretty much the whole of the UK contingent are Kean lads.. Agnew, PNE prat and the stadium manager.... Really angry at this whole affiar.. the more you look at it the worse it gets.
T.J.Newton Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 If what Kammy is saying is true then wouldn't this pretty much be the 'smoking gun' that finally proves that kean is far more than just an employee! hope its wrong as i think not only will the last 24 hours have turned the frustration levels amongst all fans up to 10 if he stays, with the potential for things to now get dangerously out of control at home games, but not only that i think this stunt will completely destroy whatever moral their is amongst the players. maybe it was Shebby that tried giving kean his marching orders, but kean doesnt answer to him or respect his authority and will only leave if its Mrs. D that sacks him directly.
John Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Very odd, as others have said, for Agnew not to deny the story, something must be going on - clearly they might have changed their mind. As he is at the reserve game, you would think a sacking is unlikely any time soon.
PAFELL Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Listen. No statement has been made. No denial has been made. Maybe the rumours he has not been sack is also false. Graham Jones MP's tweet interests me. For him to make such a tweet, tells me something has happened. I suggest we wait till tomorrow and see what happens.
Wendal Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 What is more worrying now is that the supporter base is at the lowest its ever been, due to whoever leaked this story. It conveniently landed in the Sunday People as an Alan Nixon exclusive (Agnew and Keans buddy). By Monday Cryer is then backing up this story by claiming Kean is on the brink, which is then backed up by Kamy. However, our sources are not corroborating this story and have not been all weekend, despite heavy dialogue. I would suggest, whoever has planted this story has done so to galvanise Keans position and weaken Shebbys and all they needed to implement this, is for a few people to fall hook line and sinker. Nobody at Blackburn Rovers has ever stated that Steve Kean would be sacked after one defeat. The BRFC Action Group was asked to do two things this week, and neither of these things fall inline with the idea that Steve Kean was being sacked this weekend. It is not a big secret and everyone knows that Shebby Singh wants Kean out, however playing this card at this stage may have just blown any hope the supporters had of him being able to get rid of him. The question every supporter needs to be asking of Kamy and Cryer, is who planted this story and who has benefited from it, because this will cause irreparable damage to the supporters hopes and strengthen Keans position Glen Mullan was also strongly hinting at this potential sacking throughout the weekend. I think it's clear that BRAG, Cryer,Kamy et al all have the same 'senior' source at BRFC, namely Shebby Singh. Now that Shebby has been exposed as a fraud I fully expect some backtracking to occur in order to maintain his credibility and subsequently the credibility of those who have backed him (ie the LT and BRAG). The quoted post is a great example of this.

Veevs Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I am thinking some serious MISINFORMATION has been placed out in order to smoke out a rat in the house. I wonder how much the bookies are set to make on this whole thing if Kean is no longer the first to go..

If it is illegal then no action would be brought against anybody who exposed it. I was pointing out that there are some people who are not allowed to legally own Football clubs in England anyway, as a response to your it is not illegal to own a football club comment . Nobody is interested , last season I think it was a third of the Championship teams the FA did not know who the owners were and they did not have the funds to follow it up, they knew who it was on paper which were contact's only or holding companies including one club that the owner was a Swiss businessman that had been dead for a year. Rovers have stank of 3rd party involvement since the takeover

Hopefully, Kean is sat there in blissful ignorance that the game is well and truly up.
Reider84 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I see that Steve Kean is trending on Twitter now with lots of people talking about how he was sacked and still turned up for work today so maybe Graham's not the only one to hear it. It's a gutting situation but one Tweet did almost make me laugh, "I don't think even Chuck Norris could get the better of Steve Kean"
den Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Jordan Rhodes just been on Sky saying how unsettling all this speculation is. Christ he is probably regretting his move already. It's been unsettling everyone for two years now, but Venky's don't give a sh1t.
Backroom Tom Posted September 24, 2012 Backroom Posted September 24, 2012 Glen Mullan was also strongly hinting at this potential sacking throughout the weekend. Seems like self preservation to me
watford-rover Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Mario Balotelli @MarioBaloltelli Sacked last night yet still turned up for training this morning. Steve Kean, the football manager equivalent to the psycho ex-girlfriend. good old mario. always good for a laugh. would love to hear what not the big sam has to say about it

John Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Twitter out of control, loads of non Rovers fans chipping in.
T.J.Newton Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I wonder how much the bookies are set to make on this whole thing if Kean is no longer the first to go.. Very good point, which suggests this could all have been part of a large betting fix(along with a lot of other strange things that have happened at ewood this past year). sorry!(the last thing we need is another conspiracy theory.
Mercer Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Twitter out of control, loads of non Rovers fans chipping in. The club WILL HAVE to clarify the position tomorrow. We are now an even bigger laughing stock.
