Perhaps Venky's have got a bit ahead of themselves and have been told that kean is unsackable, and he will resign when the time is right and take up the managers position at another club that as been recently sold to an out of the blue Foreign company with his reputation (in the media world ) intact

Here is a daft theory -

1. Report Kean to be sacked

Signalling fan excitement

2. Report Kean to not to be sacked

Signalling even great despondency than previously felt

3. Announce Sherwood as new manager - with Kean new D of F

Fans lifted slightly from total despair - better than Kean being manager - enough fans are convinced to marginalise those that see through the charade

Its daft - but hey this is the new Rovers :angry2:

Time for the ITK's to keep it to themselves from now I think. Clear info isn't right tbh. Maybe they have been mis informed, but the source has let them down badly.

Just read about fake bets and tumbling odds then?

The people who post ITK stuff have done for years and do so in good faith. It gives you a clearer picture of what goes on and i for one appreciate all the time and effort these people put in.

Significant that the refusal to walk and turning up to work next morning is now very much in the public domain.

Questions must surely be asked by non-Rovers

fans now. What a way to run a football club.

Farcical.

How's this for optimism in the face of insanity? Is it is just feasible that there is some haggling going on in the background linked to previous suggestions that he could be moved upstairs. This was widely reported last season and though it didn't materialise, maybe Kean made sure he had that assurance drawn up for a future rainy day, all legally binding and heavily weighted in his favour. Could even have been in the small print of his renewed contract.

Well today has literally been his rainy day. He may therefore have stopped them in their tracks for now, hence he's digging his heels in, expecting his policy to be honoured. Maybe he's threatened legal action, for example. He is certainly brazing it out, but then again, we know he's thick skinned.

So, if Venky's now realise they have to completely sever his involvement with the club as "the business" is bleeding revenue with him involved, but he has something to confront them with, then this would need sorting first.

Matters have ultimately come to a head as he won't walk, even refuses to acknowledge he's been sacked. Compo may have thought to have been determined as per his renewed contract, but if he wants a bigger pay-off than they are willing to offer, there may be stalemate for now. The hope is that Venky's for once understand the bigger picture, do not back down and see this through.

We may yet have our pound of flesh, but it may take more time than first expected.

Anyway, that's my Scooby-Do ending.

Back to the Absinth.....

So do I, but stuff like this- days before, when they've been shown up before, makes everyone look foolish....

Could it not be arranged?

I'm open to ideas ....?

since lunch time i have been saying kean will get a new contract.i was ridiculed and slated by some people but my information came from within ewood. kean as never been close to being sacked or moved.

If they give him a new contract I'm confident the average attendance at Ewood will drop well below 9,000, it would be suicide if they did that ! Surly they can't be that dense ?! Can they ?

I think the words SOURCE AND RELIABLE have to be questioned from some these days.

I hope he has a recording or proof of that from Agnew - if not it maybe libel

Libel my backside. What is it with BRFC fans these days, suddenly think their law experts. There won't be a bloody 'libel' for something of that nature. This isn't America
