davulsukur Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 It appears as though Mr Kean has told friends that he is on his way out. This could be it, it really could be. So is Eric Black running the show? If he knows he is off and the wheels are in fact in motion to have him removed, it benefits absolutely no one to have him around the place anymore.

Giant Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I've only re-read the last 3 pages or so [so only the last hour or so on here!] but has anybody else floated Simon Grayson's name? He's someone who ticks the "Former player" box, has served his apprenticeship as a manager and could possibly be tempted to a club with apparently wealthier owners than Huddersfield. That would endear us even more to our Huddersfield chums. Also heard Hoyle wont let him go to a divisional rival.......
ABBEY Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 It is probably premature, but perhaps someone could set up a poll to see who we would prefer as the next manager. Sherwood, Shearer, Klinsman McCarthy, Curbishly, Other.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Black Burn Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO No what? Would you rather stick with Kean then?
JBiz Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I think it would be daft to slag of a prospective manager for the football they produce at this stage. An experienced manager with a record of results, or a up and comer with an exceptional CV will do. If there is one thing the past 22 months should have proven, the "total" football debate is irrelevant. The want of simple competance should unify the fans, regardless of the style.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Just been told the same! Anyday now!! Modern social media is a terrible thing - I'll wait until an official announcement after the last few days
PAFELL Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 On the other hand it would back up what Alan Nixon has been saying all along...... And neither Cryer nor Kamy said that Mrs. Desai changed her mind to sack Kean, they only said she postponed the sack instead of doing it on Monday as was originally planned. In fact, weren't both Cryer and Kamy confident that it was only a matter of time before Kean was sacked eventually? Almost every source here seems confident that Kean will definitely be sacked, the only thing they are disagreeing on is when he will be sacked. I believed from the moment shebby stepped into the role at rovers. that keans''s departure would happen soon.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I BET YA 20 MILLION POUNDS YOUR WRONG YOU KNOW THIS BECAUSE? Because plenty of reporters have seen him taking training. Martin Blackburn has been there whilst Kean gave the training. & I'm wrong, I simply said what the Mirror were reporting so I doubt it Mr Caps.
bradeagle Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 i cant believe people are talking about the "next" manager. The first task is to make sure kean is out the door, this situation feels all to similar to me and am not going to build my hopes up like i did after Bolton home, Wigan home, post Big Sam rant and Shebby open floor......
ABBEY Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 No what? Would you rather stick with Kean then? no ...dont temp fate with a poll
Roost Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 What are you referring to there? Can't find anything in other threads. A story relating to DD & SK having a real dingdong in training.
ABBEY Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Because plenty of reporters have seen him taking training. Martin Blackburn has been there whilst Kean gave the training. & I'm wrong, I simply said what the Mirror were reporting so I doubt it Mr Caps. that was MONDAY?
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Well he took it yesterday & tuesday. No reason why he wouldn't have today.
Black Burn Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 no ...dont temp fate with a poll Oh, okay. Fair enough. I thought you were saying noooo to the managers on the poll.
ABBEY Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Well he took it yesterday & tuesday. No reason why he wouldn't have today. SO YOUR ASSUMING THEN? ASSUMING IS DIFFRENT THAN FACT.
sjsbrfc Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Well he took it yesterday & tuesday. No reason why he wouldn't have today. Yesterday and Tuesday. Wasn't yesterday Tuesday?
AJW Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 It appears as though Mr Kean has told friends that he is on his way out. This could be it, it really could be. thats bull5h1t BPF and you know it!!!!........Kean has no friends
Black Burn Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 thats bull5h1t BPF and you know it!!!!........Kean has no friends Don't tell me you've forgotten about Kean's best friend Agnew.
Mullionvagrant Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Three things that i want in the new manager :- 1) He is not on the books of Kentaro. 2) His wife (if he's married) stays away from Mrs Desai. 3) He picks his team based upon the strongest possible team in the squad (i.e Simon should be considered) Naturally experience is a preference to potential/and respect + integrity are musts.
martonrover Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 thats bull5h1t BPF and you know it!!!!........Kean has no friends What about the people in 'the village' ? They must be gutted they appear on the verge of losing their idiot
ABBEY Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 What about the people in 'the village' ? They must be gutted they appear on the verge of losing their idiot STE B has volunteered to step in and dual up with his ossy title.
Taggart Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Don't tell me you've forgotten about Kean's best friend Agnew. To be fair, I have been given the impression he has told friends he is on his way out as well, albeit via social media so take with a pinch of salt. Lets just hope so; funniest post I have seen for a while .................... Jack Rydeheard@Blackburnjack I'm reliably informed that Shebby is aware of the proposed boycott and when told his reply was and I quote " Oh ###### " :-)
Ruaney Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Has somebody heard he didn't take training today? Or are people just wondering? Also, I'd have to say nay to McCarthy too ( well, not above Kean as the only option) just because he has never cut it in the Premiership really... Another point, I hope Eric Black doesn't talk up Steve Bruce if and when Kean gets the chop! That'd be a bad appointment too!
thenodrog Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 They are apparently now just working out his pay off. Normally I'd be tempted to organise a whip round on here but I feel he's made more than enough out of his short time at BRFC to eke out a plush lifestyle swilling red wine until his liver packs up in one of his new villa's in Portugal.
BuckyRover Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I've been in the Yosemite wilderness for a few days without Internet access and I come back to this news Absolutely fantastic. Just hope it is confirmed very soon
