His presser is on Friday, it will be very interesting to observe his body language on Friday. I fully expect him to say that he has been talking to the owners on a daily basis and that his future is not under question/he has the backing of the owners.

Nicko seems ultra-confident that Kean is a goner, I have some reason to share his optimism but he should've gone on Monday, everything was in place (including press statement) yet he is still here, with that kinda decision making, literally anything could happen. I can't see us getting a result on Saturday if Kean is still the manager, there have been events involving some of the players this week. Can't see those players busting a gut for Kean.

Why have they not put him on gardening leave pending payoff agreement?

Absolutely mad!

I would never wish defeat on my team no matter how desperate things become. As a scouser I have been tested all my life by verbal abuse, mockery and once an act of violence because of the shirt colours I proudly sported walking around the streets. Never ever since 92 when I started supporting Blackburn Rovers has my faith in the club dipped this low though.

If we lose on Saturday Kean will be in charge still, this is the guy who got us relegated and kept his job. Optimistic journo's and Shebby are leading you up the garden path. I HOPE WE WIN!!

This is why I remain sceptical about all of this. Makes no sense keeping him around to take training or press conferences. If they are sorting out his payoff he should be on gardening leave as a minimum.

Must admit all these rumours of him actually going will be helping to diffuse the fans anger - lets hope they are more than just rumours, because Ewood won't be a nice place if he is still around come the Wolves match. Having said that I won't be there anyway - as many won't be.

What's the info on the players Kamy? Or can't you say yet?
