Backroom DE. Posted September 29, 2012 Backroom Posted September 29, 2012 It's going to take a lot of work from our new manager to undo the damage Kean has done to the defensive side of our game.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Charlton sound the better, we need to take teams like them apart, no real quality from them
booth Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Blackpool 2 down now. Charlton sound the better, we need to take teams like them apart, no real quality from them Before their penalty it sounded as if Rovers were in control.
RevidgeBlue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Can we keep a clean sheet for once? No. Black out!! Edit: Huddersfield and Simon Grayson going extremely well. One up.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 It's going to take a lot of work from our new manager to undo the damage Kean has done to the defensive side of our game. Exactly.....plus the fitness issues....alarm bells won't start ringing for me until at least a few weeks, even if we still concede all the time.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Charlton hit the post, frustrating how we make average teams look good
booth Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Exactly.....plus the fitness issues....alarm bells won't start ringing for me until at least a few weeks, even if we still concede all the time. I think the fitness issues will solve a lot of problems. It'll affect concentration which we seem to be sorely lacking.
philipl Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Crikey, just 30 minutes gone and already 12 attempts on goal between the two sides. What is un-Kean like is that Rovers are dominating possession.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Rovers are under pressure, not dominating ATM
RevidgeBlue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I think the fitness issues will solve a lot of problems. It'll affect concentration which we seem to be sorely lacking. On the other hand we've scored a few very late goals this season which wouldn't support that theory. The problem is more deep rooted than that.
Martin Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Sounds like Charlton well on top. Sounds like the same defensive problems exist, which is understandable. Need a new manager and some defensive stability soonish.
booth Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 On the other hand we've scored a few very late goals this season which wouldn't support that theory. The problem is more deep rooted than that. We've still looked absolutely knackered by the end. Rhodes will still be a fit lad from being at another club. Rochina usually comes on late. But yes that's part of it, it's also the tactics or lack of. And the fact we didn't have any kind of strategy regarding wing play and defence when we were recruiting in the Summer.
