Backroom Mike E Posted June 17, 2013 Backroom Posted June 17, 2013 They did play a huge part in delivering the Ryder Cup. Indeed, but it'd be nice to see them achieve much more in terms of individual success too.

Alex Rover Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Congratulations to Justin Rose - one of the so-called "golden generation" of English golfers who has finally delivered. Now we need the likes of Donald, Fisher, Poulter and especially Westwood to do the same. I wouldn't quite put Fisher in that bracket but would include Paul Casey (although he's really struggling at the moment).
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Great climax to The Masters. Rose and Garcia -8, Fowler - 5 Just starting the back 9, love the majors.
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Sergio eagles the 15th, rose birdies it, 3 holes left, all level
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Rose birdies the 16th, Sergio has a par. Rose one up, 2 left to play. This is great to watch.
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 It's one of those times where I'm not sure who I want to win till I find myself doing a little fist pump when someone holes out. In this case I'm up for Rose but would also love to see Sergio win his first major too.
JonnyP Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Just now, wolfie said: Unbelievable how 72 holes come down to this Number 73 now haha
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Thought Rose was nailed on for that putt on the 18th. Wonder if the fact that Rose has already won a major (and the olympics) might come into play.
JonnyP Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Yeah still a tough shot off the pines, Garcia's drive have been monsters all day a couple of loose ones but most have screened down the fairway
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Rose needs to get up and down from here, looking like Sergio's to lose...
JonnyP Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Just now, wolfie said: Rose needs to get up and down from here, looking like Sergio's to lose... Yeah if Rose doesn't sink this it's over
wolfie Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 I think Rose's tee shot off the 1st play-off hole will keep him awake at nights for a few weeks
JonnyP Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Yeah great display and delighted to see the passion come out of him at the end long time in the waiting
matt83 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Was routing for rose being the Englishman but can't really begrudge Garcia the win after 22 top 10 finishes in previous majors without a win.
