SAS Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 If he does sue for his dismissal then maybe the club can sue him for loss of income. Be a few million quid...

RevidgeBlue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 It will be a very interesting one and my bet will be that both parties will soon reach an amicable agreement, more than originally on offer to Kean, in order to avaoid dirty linen being washed in public and also to 'protect' Kean for future employment opportunities. Agreed. But not much more hopefully for the reason I outlined above.
doowe Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Just tried ringing the Ticket Office, the line was Busy..... Strange that!! Just tried ringing the Ticket Office, the line was Busy..... Strange that!! tried again still busy anyone any clues??
SharrockDownSouth Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Surprisingly perspective filled BBC article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19736471
Ferrit Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Is it worth hanging fire for a couple of days to see if they do a special to get the fans back on the season ticket wagon?
jannerman Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Let's just hope the alleged team interfering wasn't having Myles start (I know he's on loan!! Can't we just leave him there?)
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Make of this what you will... http://www.football365.com/blackburn-rovers/8118943/Kean-exit-disappoints-Venky-s
Ferrit Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Season tickets online not even showing for me :s
USABlue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Two separate people have told me they've seen Arry at Stanley house tonight. Posted this earlier. Maybe he's just there for something else, maybe he's giving inside scoop on Sherwood, though the Redknapp/Sherwood combo sounds very interesting and would really get the place buzzing.
Ferrit Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Thank you, Shebby Singh, Kamy, Glen Mullan, Wayne Wild, Nick Harris, David Conn, All local MPs backing Kean Out. Everyone who boycotted. One of the best days of my life. SHEBBY SINGHS BLUE N WHITE ARMY!!! Fixed
USABlue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I think todays article from Nick Harris/sporting intelligence is what really broke the camels back. Link? Never Mind. Sorry I have 30 pages to catch up on I'm gonna read every post in this thread. Only just found out I had to put in a 14 hour shift yesterday so just came home and crashed. This is awesome news indeed. I'm very interested to see how many of those football people backing Kean will now call him and offer him a job. I do believe he will try to sue the club.
RevidgeBlue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Make of this what you will... http://www.football3...ppoints-Venky-s "We're going to claim he walked out and it wasn't our doing so that we have to pay him no/minimal compensation"
SouthAussieRover Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Such is the nature of the day I'm going stick some money on us beating Charlton 3 1 Btw Mercerman you've been hedging your bets all week lol
Emge Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Link? http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/09/28/kean-won-stay-of-execution-at-blackburn-after-wifes-11th-hour-call-to-owner-280902/
47er Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Congratulations Glen and to your colleagues. You had your detractors but you pressed on, I truly believed it wouldn't have happened without your group's actions. The complete answer to those who said nothing could be done. Very happy awakening this morning. Get the manager selection right and we may have a club to identify with again. I'd be happy with Sherwood from what I know but another idiot and we are finished.
Ruaney Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Make of this what you will... http://www.football365.com/blackburn-rovers/8118943/Kean-exit-disappoints-Venky-s The biggest thing I can take from this is that Derek Shaw is an absolute clown. He and Agnew are next!

ABBEY Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Just had a thought - there's all the Scottish mafia/ Jerome Anderson/ Kean owns shares in the Club conspiracy theories gone in one fell swoop! why? just make him resign and silent whilst carrying on.
Fife Rover Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 08712221444 Thanks for that Winston (great name) but I had already found it on the back of my last season ticket wallet. Got My old seat back and will be there cheering the lads to victory against Wolves. OH HAPPY DAY!!!
philipl Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Congrats to den and Fife! Kean going because of interference in team selection is going to make getting the next manager interesting. Mrs D's disappointment could well be genuine. Derek Shaw's cluelessness is genuine Oh what a happy day. Happy days are here again... Putting Pune out of my mind but the JA owns Rovers conspiracy theory will only be dead when we see what comes after Kean....
dwayne cage Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Let's hope Venkys don't make the same mistake getting a total no mark in twice!
The Rover of Finland Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 http://www.rovers.co...ale-351669.aspx :tu: :tu: Minority is buying tickets surprisingly well today and we are playing in London.
Kelbo Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Probably correct. However, if his contract is payed out in full, just say 9 months at 100k per month for the sake of argument, I can't imagine that any claim for unfair dismissal would have any significant additional financial value. If he goes for unfair dismissal, a counterclaim for the lies he told Venkys, ie: he discovered Jones, was there to help Fulham to Promotion, Hoillet wouldnt leave, defo wouldnt get relegated, the fans are all behind me apart from 1% etc etc - Shebby saw through that and reported to the owners, then theres the Glen Mullan letter outlining the past 12 months, the Allardyce Crook comments!! he would be a fool to persue a case!
ABBEY Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 mcleish in to 10/1 nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
