Who was it that said that can you remember? I don't think Henry Winter was on it this week......my Sky+ failed to record it and I can't believe I missed it....is there any way to watch it online that you know of?

I just smiled at Kean's statement.....the "majority of fans".....delusional right till the end.

What puzzle's me is who did he resign to? The club officially seemed unaware or I'm sure a teary eyed Desai would have offered him a payrise and a new contract. Surely he just walked out reading between the lines of reports.

Karen Silk ? or his little pet snake Aggers? a phone call to Switzerland? Hertfordshire? Def more to this story to come I think, hoping he's just freeing himself up in anticipation of the Scotland job

He could legally still own a 5% share in the club if he in fact does have any stake

Mixed reports on this. some say,

1/ Travelled down with the team. Which means shaw did not. As Shaw said he heard whilst on the way down to London.

2/ Even went to the place the players were staying.

3/ Resigned via his lawyer.

I think it possible he told Shebby and Black.

Patrick Collins, not Patrick Barclay who made the rank ignorant and inaccurate comments in the Mail.

Let's see what tomorrow's papers bring before going further on how Kean departed.

The way Kean left was not pre-meditated so in my opinion his spur of the moment decision to resign does not prove anything in either direction with regards to conspiracies/ownership. The alleged great disappointment from Mrs D that he has gone makes me wonder what on earth is/was going on and whether the plan was always to lead Shebby up the garden path with the sacking that wasn't last Sunday.

Let's see if he gets any compensation- if he does it will be pure charity as Kean is not entitled to anything in law and any constructive dismissal case can be despatched with a counter misconduct claim for his "Sam is a crook" rant in HK.

Well The Mail on Sunday don't appear to like us either, even went as far as calling me a 'vengeful clown' despite me never having spoken to them in my life.

scroll down to the headline 'P.S'

I wouldn't worry about it this "clown" of a reporter makes a living out of slagging different people off every week. I wouldn't even class him as a journo.

By the way I found out about Kean from the action group statement ! I had to read it 3 times before I realised what was happening. I then nearly burst into tears before grabbing a can or two of beer and drinking them in record time.

So if that makes me an emotional drunk vengeful clown then so be it !

Train? Never heard of the team getting the train. Hence they have a very very posh swanky coach to take them to games

The team have been travelling to London games by train for some time now. They are met at Euston by coach and taken to their hotel and then onto the ground the following day. |After the game they are taken from the ground to Euston for the return journey. As most of them live in an around Manchester they normally go from Picadilly but have also been known to go from Preston. They reserve a whole first class compartment. In fact most Premier League teams from the North West do this too.

who was the bloke on that audio saying sk did an appauling job?

+1 ha

Pretty sure it was Jason Burt of the Telegraph. He really stuck up for the fans and seemed to understand the situation entirely, even said Kean was toxic. Was great to hear after the clown Rob Draper (from of course the Daily Mail) started by sticking up for Kean saying we should have stuck with him etc.

In the article in todays Times of India, Balaji is quoted as saying that 'I received an email from Steve Kean on Friday evening at around 7.30 pm saying that he wanted to resign '.

Was he forced ?

Balaji says 'No, we have not forced him to go. It was his decision. We are letting him go'.

Did they try to stop him ?

Balaji says 'If he is not happy, what can we do ? It is better he leaves then'.

i see that kean is up to his old tricks, stating that the owners wanted to pick the team so he felt that he had to go, however his number 2 said tha the owners had no input and he(black ) and his backroom pick the team

I've got a feeling that the only way Kean saved himself in summer was to amend his contract to include the 16 point target, he didn't hit it so he went. They made it out to look like a resignation to save face.

So he's not going to sue the club then as has been suggested.

yet another clown who doesn't have a clue about what actually happened... First class garbage. Why should kean be allowed to insult the fans for 2 years and then get nothing back? He got no less than he deserved. No surprise that he's already lying again, claiming that the owners tried to pick the team and that's why he quit...

How come no one actually challenge his ridiculous statements? An not to mention his track record.
