Backroom Tom Posted September 28, 2012 Backroom Posted September 28, 2012 This, IMO, will be all about Kean pursuing a claim for constructive dismissal and maximising his claim. Said yesterday we were in for an electric 12 hours ! Just thought it would happen earlier in the day ! I owe you one Mercerman

Black Burn Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I guess this means we can call off the boycott for the Wolverhampton game, right? Let's show up in full force and celebrate Kean's resignation.
Elegia Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 ecstatic, overjoyed and its like a huge weight has been lifted. looking forward to the charlton game tomorrow (the first game I have looked forward to in a long time) don't care about the result either, so happy right now they could tonk us 10-0 and it wouldn't take this moment away. My wife is so getting it tonight
Stuart Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Can't stop smiling. Even though I know he's going to get a sickening amount of sympathy from the press. I prefer to think of the look on his face, and the smug grin sliding off the side of it, as the workman was removing the name plate from his office door - with Kean still sat behind his desk.
Blueboy Downunder Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 i gotta go to work tonight. damn it!!
Rover_Shaun Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 "I wish to thank all the players and coaching staff for their great support and the majority of the fans, who now see their club heading towards an automatic promotion position back to the Premiership. I wish the club all the very best for the future." To55er! Majority???? Twunt!!! Rot in hell Steve Kean I'm having a wainright to your demise NOW

Alan75 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Quote Sky News - Rovers officials are apparently unaware of his decision. Why doesnt that surprise me
G Somerset Rover Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Notice how he announced this though Jim White and his pals? Anyway....PARTY TIME!!!
DeadlyDirk Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Comical how Paul Walsh on SSN is ripping into us for not giving Kean a chance and then slating Newcastle for giving Pardew a long term deal, what a muppet!!
Mike Graham Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11676/8118734/Steve-Kean-has-been-forced-to-resign-after-his-position-as-Blackburn-manager-became-untenable- W http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11676/8118734/Steve-Kean-has-been-forced-to-resign-after-his-position-as-Blackburn-manager-became-untenable- how, what a statement.....sounds like player power to me

chaddyrovers Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 bbc Radio Lancs said that Derek Shaw doesnt even know that Kean has resigned!! sounds like to me that Balaji and Shebby have forced him resign as manager
walk down bolton road Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Bye Bye Coco you bumbling bufoon, take your low life mates with you,and your invisible dog,and put all your thousands of letters saying what a good job you did in the recycle bin.Lets see if all your friends in football who backed you up,fix you up with a new job.hahaha. Good riddance scumbag.
sussexrover Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I must stop watching sky sports news. I keep misreading the banner as kean re-signs. Shudder
spencey7 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Can't believe it, for so long it felt like this day would never come. Just poured myself a large glass of whisky to celebrate the first feelings of optimism I've had about Rovers in years. We could actually be promoted this season! Enjoy tonight everyone!
DeadlyDirk Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Haha Graham Jones just tweeted what I said Graham Jones @GrahamJones_MP You have to feel sorry for the 99% of fans who'll be disapointed Steve Kean has gone...
The Rover of Finland Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 So the Raos couldn´t actually do the decision to sack him.
old darwen blue Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Oh happy days, get them season tickets bought boys and girls.
Clitherover Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Phew, have calmed down a bit now. I certainly didn't see this happening after him taking the press conference this morning. Thank god he's gone and I hope he never gets a job in football again, not that he'll need one after all the money he's raped from this club. I'm just thankful I'll never have to see his ugly, snidey mug every time I click something Rovers related online. Next stop to get rid of the odious Agnew and any of the other bad eggs left over, oh and I hope any of the pillocks who were supporting him on here do one as well (you know who you are). Time to book tickets for the Wolves game now, I can get back to supporting the club I love. Also cheers to Mercerman if you're reading this for pointing those odds out when they were 25/1, made a nice £130 quid out of that, thanks mate.
Black Burn Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 He probably knew his time was coming, probably knew that Balaji was coming to sack him, so he decided to resign before that happened and save himself some face. I mean, to resign while his team is third in the Championship, that would probably bolster his chances for future jobs in football.

broadsword Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I'm jetting in as we speak ... mop bucket and 63 bottles of domestos at the ready. Gonna cleanse Ewood of this loathsome toad's presence. Venky's - don't ever (Please don't use that word again) with the fans again, you'll come off worse. And for Christ's sakes don't give the job to Hendry!
