Why exactly are Glen and his mates having meetings with Shebby Singh? I ask assuming that the answer isn't as simple as "to raise their own profiles", despite the evidence suggesting this is exactly what it is....

If the right-thinking managers (coincidentally the ones we all want) all turned the job down, are Venkys, or Singh, likely to say, oh yes, they all said "there's no chance they'd come to Rovers"? Or is it more likely they'd come out with gubbins about selection criteria? And which would we prefer they said?

If it's all about pride and saving face they'd have to go with the former. And, without them either selling up (buyer permitting) or getting in a proper chairman to sort it out, it's probably the best approach.

They should forget about getting in the "Nexr Mourinho", they should start with the "Next John Williams". Better still, bring back the old one - now that would get the fans back onside!

Tim Sherwood it is then?

Like Mercerman dont put any money on Tim Sherwood for Rovers dont think hes interested

All this 'infighting' on this forum is becoming tiresome

On a seperate point, where has it been said that it'll be another two weeks before an appointment?

This has gone on far too long and Rovers' best chances of snaring a top class candidate were within days of Kean leaving whilst the slate was momentarily clean.

If I was a candidate, I wouldn't touch this lot with a sh1tty stick now.

It's easy to believe that but when you step back into reality, money is money and the contract they will be offering will be a staggering amount whether they do it on the cheap or not. It'll either be big money or ludicrous money and for whatever anyone says about integrity, it will be difficult to turn down for many managers.

It was on Granada tonight apparently. Mind you that was nearly three hours ago, things could have changed since then.

Salgado tweeting that he is interested in the Rovers job...

EDIT: This is a real account yeah? I have always assumed so especially since Rochina follows it.

Its definitely Salgado

Embarrassing!

From he owners to the fans, I'm embarrassed by the lot, but most especially by these action group "reps" who constantly manage to post condescending messages whilst at the same claiming they're not in it for themselves yadda yadda yadda

Gets more like Animal Farm every fooking day.

This has turned into the biggest willy waving competition in BRFCs history, far to many people thinking they're more important than they are.....

The rest of you have put your faith in Singh, the mans a joke, like the confused owners that are pulling his strings.

GET A keaning GRIP

Shebby sent a text to Kamy, Mark read it, and now they're all rowing.

Inappropriate time to be fannying about in a boat.

That's a Coronation Street plot, right?
